The carrier assault rounds go by way to fast and I might just be retarded by the layout of the carrier interior is confusing as fuck.
I'd do a paint drawing, but it is quite simple as an attacker. There is just two rectangle rooms.

It's simple for an attacker but stupid as a defender. Spawning in to defend B puts you in a U shaped hallway filled with doors that don't open and the only way out is to run to the ends then go down the stairs that are easily camped by the people who just blew up A. The biggest problem, of many, with carrier assault is that you just can't defend against it. I had one game last night where we had a decently pitched battle and then the attackers clamped down on the B spawn staircases and it was all over.
Maybe in time players will pick up on the theme of defense and we can get some good battles going but as long as the only objectives are a pair of sequential MCOM's and the defenders can only come from two narrow corridors to defend the second one, I don't see much potential.

Yeah I was talking more about the defending side of the ship. First time I spawned in I had no idea what the fuck I was doing.
Lmao, our hull got breached and the enemies flew a full transport chopper into our first MCOM, roadkilling me; I was too busy laughing to be mad, such a good tactic

ok guess i wont play then
Trying to splatter the enemy on a rooftop with a transport chopper is one of the finer things in life
Carrier assault just feels like someone with no creativity remade titan mode as lazily as possible.
I wish the technical aspects of BF4 were more public, that way we'd at least know if the things we're disappointed in are bad because they can't be better or because DICE didn't give enough shits.
DICE should of just made the carriers fly for the hell of it.
I don't want to go back to playing Normal mode ever again. Hardcore is where it's at. No useless hiding because one guy managed to spot you and you have a giant orange arrow over your head, people aren't bullet sponges anymore or regenerating gods.
You give and receive a bit more damage so you have to be a little more careful gunning around. I find the gameplay is a bit better that way.

Snipers everywhere though...
Snipers here, snipers there, there will be snipers everywhere.

Except in hardcore they one shot you from across the map and you'll never know where they are.
If they manage to hit you. Most of the time, randomly hit WASD without thinking about a pattern, and they will miss. Gives you enough time to find their general direction as they repeatedly miss, or a hiding spot. Works for me 75% of the time.

Also, standing in one spot is usually a bad idea.
my go to for dodging snipers is to start randomly crouching and occasionally going prone. seems to work pretty well for me

You can kill a guy in 3 bullets at 130+ meters with an automatic rifle and you're complaining about people being bullet sponges
Guns aren't very lethal because the average modern military shooter player has terrible aim, not because of the guns themselves. I'd play a hardcore mode with a 4x headshot multiplier instead of one that makes it easier to spray and get kills.
I find myself spraying all over the place in normal mode and not getting any kills, but I'm hardcore I usually manage to get three clean hits and bam, the guy's dead. I also like the idea of conserving one's bullets, as reloading all the time is a big no.
Snipers have never been a big problem for me in the hardcore mode. They rarely get any hits unless I stand still.
I cant understand how people wants to play hardcore.
It's packed with snipers and i hate dying suddenly because some guy managed to hit 3 shots from 100+ metres way with his gun.

Sounds like you're not hardcore.

Use the M16A4 and shoot stupid death lasers at their heads, 2-3 shot kill

4 shots.

Destroy the first M-COM then BAM, Avengers Helicarrier
The gamemode is now all stingers and jets
Sniper and DMR limiters are the best things on servers.
So apparently saying the grammar of the rules that showed up was bad was disrespectful so the admin force killed me 6 times the exact rule said (if the player drops grenade while shot/cocked kick ban forever) :v:
I don't mind the damage model so much (though how "you only have to land 3/5ths of your shots than normal" translates to hardcore is beyond me) but what I hate is the lack of information in a game that is clearly balanced around having 3D spotting and the minimap. The visual noise on some of these maps is such that I'd die constantly to people just camping in corners or bushes. Zavod is a notable example, especially around the middle facility.
It also fundamentally breaks the recon class as it has in Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3. A class that relies on spotting in a game mode where you can't spot things, brilliant :v:

PB being PB, reinstall and try again.

It's not happening repeatedly so no need for a reinstall, just confused as to what it was?

Happens to me as well, same situations. Punkbuster is just being a dick (also tell me what you reacted on dammit)
Maybe you're a notoriously bad driver.
