sounds like a bug tbh
I had that once on Lockers - an enemy jumped off high ground, slid under the floor for me(I only saw his head sliding, yes) he got behind me(somehow), started to knife in the back and then I thought "well, I'm done then. gg you got my tags." but then I get counter-knife pop-up and SOMEHOW animation transitions from back-stab animation to front counter-knife and I kill him. what the fuck.
I've been getting it as well.
AUG and suppressor is the best on Lockers. I keep slaughtering people and most of the time they are like 'what has happened where the hell is he'
"You have a lot of friends! But you've reached the limit. If you'd like to add this friend, you'll need to remove someone from your list" Fuck you origin for saying I have too many friends. And then still not allowing me to add a new one even after removing several. I'm sorry, EvilProgram, you're in purgatory until I figure this out.
What's your Origin name so I could know who you are
Areolop
AW YEAH
So what does the camo do? Or is it strictly cosmetic?
I must be getting unlucky and they turn at the very last second and I stab before their worldmodel turns, because it seems to be I come up behind and suddenly as I'm mid-knife they whip around and counter.
A little montage I made using the best weapon in the game.
God the RPK-74M sucks but it's so fucking fun to use. [editline]21st April 2014[/editline] The only right way to use it is with ironsights.
The RPK-74M definitely needs it 700 ROF back like it had in BF3. That way it could at least stand some chance against the other LMG's. At a push, give it a fucking 100 round drum. On the plus side, there is something quite aesthetically pleasing running it with ironsights and no camo.
I don't understand why the LMG's in this game are basically Assault Rifles with massive magazines. It's like the only downside to using an LMG is that you have to play Support.
In BF3 the LMGs were shockingly bad unless you bipoded down. In the end the majority of support were just using the M27, RPK, L86, because they were the only guns that could hit anything. :v: (what with the bf3 suppression effect-and-all) I quite like the fact that the BF4 lmgs were given a buff, (their accuracy being on-par with carbines) it made them more usable like they were in BC2. I'm probably committing heresy here but I often play support with the MTAR just so I can hose down fools. Not to mention the support class has some fun gadgets at it's disposal.

Making carbines an all class weapon was the worst idea imo in bf4. Makes all the classes basically assault with different gadgets.
Notorious, how exactly does the Airburst work? Does it automatically configure the range to blow up at? Cause at some points, you were aiming at the sky (when shooting dudes on roofs) and it'd still blow up right beside them.

In BF2142 it was interesting, LMG's got more accurate with sustained fire, but also could overheat if fired too long, so you had to balance cooldown with accuracy. Either one is better than just handing out Assault Rifles with a 200 round magazines. Plop a grip and a laser on it, and you can literally run and gun, no need to worry about spread or ammo, just spray until the enemy falls down.
LMG's in BF4 are too silly. I ended up getting revived and somehow managed to pick up someone's Support kit. His LMG was 200 rounds, better than my Assault rifle and let me pop people off with ease. Literally shooting them from a distance, no recoil, no climb, I was tearing shit up.

Not that it matters much; Rifles are pretty much the same thing except you can't put a GL on a Carbine, and LMG's are Rifles with giant magazines. The only use is to replace the PDW (do those even have any advantages?) or Sniper Rifle if you want a combat class with spawn beacons and stuff.

I started playing from The First Bad Company game, maybe that's why I liked using the LMGs so much. I've never really 'run and gun' with the support weapons, mainly for one their hip fire is over twice as worse as assault weapons and it's generally not my play-style.
People who get in DV-15's and refuse to actively use them really piss me off. They literally lose us the round. They'll sit back in base and try and snipe, focusing on fucking infantry instead of hunting down other Attack Boats. We spent the entire round as infantry trying to deal with the god damn DV-15's, cause our own preferred wasting time being fucked around with by infantry.
Areolop
Was wondering what happened to you, didn't noticed you changed your name on FP.
Trying to complete some leftover assignments, this one is just fucking impossible. Any tips? Also need another bomber delivery ribbon..
My main problem with LMGs - MG4(or whatever is the last one in LMG unlock chain) kills faster than any other carbine/assault rifle in the game, while having a suppressor equipped on it.

Not to mention the OP ACE52. (even with or without suppressors)
Only advice I can give for bombing ribbons is to try and prioritize vehicles. They are easier to hit if you miss by a little and lots of armor likes to camp. The vast majority of my kills in the bomber are against tanks and MAA.
I never understood why people think the ACE52 is OP. They SAY it's OP, but never explain why. Sure, I get killed by it a lot but that's because a lot of people use it. I've been doing quite fine not using it.

After you zoom in, you look above the cover and it will explode passed it.

I've been doing quite fine not using it.
I guess 'OP' was the wrong word to use. That'd imply that it is statistically better than every single other weapon in the game. For me, I'd use the word unbalanced. Here's how I see it. In battlefield 3, each class had a 'heavy hitter' weapon. For assault the G3, Engineer the SCAR-H, Engineer/PDW the UMP45, and support m240/m60/pkp. The G3, had a slow ROF and a slower movement bonus than other assault rifles, the SCAR-H got nerfed from 34-30 and again had a slow ROF, support heavy mgs have worse ADS and worse hipfire stats and the UMP45 was only effective in close quarters. Each making them quite balanced. In Battlefield 4, the carbines are available to all classes making it quite unbalanced. Here's why, because the Ace52 beats out the Assaults SCAR-H, making it 'statistically' worse. The SCAR should be a battle rifle but it only has an extra 5m drop off end compared to the Ace52. Engineer PDW's in most cases are pretty useless just because of the map design. The engagements in BF4 are at a much greater distance compared to that in BF3, making carbines a logical choice to use. Especially an ACE52 that trumps the UMP45.
