I never understood why people think the ACE52 is OP. They SAY it's OP, but never explain why. Sure, I get killed by it a lot but that's because a lot of people use it. I've been doing quite fine not using it.
I pretty much think it's OP because despite it's super fast fire rate it's relatively stable with small recoil so at close to medium range, with some modifiers you can pretty much just point and hold down the trigger for a few seonds for easy win, whereas most guns either require compensation for recoil or the sway/spread of bullets.
Wait, shit, I have to buy Naval Strike.
I thought it was going to be like China Rising for the Digital Delux people.
Trying to complete some leftover assignments, this one is just fucking impossible. Any tips?
Also need another bomber delivery ribbon..

There are a few Silk Road-only servers, play on those. At round start take a jet, crash it into D, cap it, and get the bomber. After that, ignore everything but that trailer and just keep trying to get into it.

I got it in the end. Feel so relieved now.

Actually I think Commander has better power to lead team to victory.
The only use is to replace the PDW (do those even have any advantages?)
The MP7 with suppressor is surprisingly good. Once you learn the spread, due to the low recoil you can easily hit people at ~50m.
I just had the best idea - since the primary point of a PDW is to provide vehicle crews with weapons that won't interfere with vehicle operation, entering a vehicle with anything but a PDW should randomly fire, deploy flares, or move the turret/vehicle to simulate a larger weapon getting in the way. It's perfect.

1 MAV = 1 Recon controlling it = 1 less Engineer = 1 less rocket = 1 less enemy tank = 1 less captured flag
I feel like the engineer was balanced with just PDWs, but allowing him to have carbines/DMRs kinda ruined it.
compared to the bf3 engineer, the bf4 engineer was nerfed imo
Allowing anyone to have DMR's ruined it. It's bad enough Snipers can get them.
I honestly wish DMR's and shotguns were the only all kit weapons, and carbines were limited to recon. That way you could basically give the option to have every BF2 class (Assault with GL for Assault, Assault with medic and defib for Medic, Support is Support, Engie with AT mines and shotguns for Engineer, Engie with PDW and Rockets for AT, Recon with snipers for Sniper and Recon with C4 and Carbines for Special Forces) That way classes still have distinct roles without Engineer basically being the go to class for everything. Having Carbines be all kit just makes every class meld into one playstyle and it makes Battlefield lose the class dynamic its always had.
DMR's shouldn't be an all-kit weapon because they're so powerful. Carbines I don't mind as all-kit weapons, if there's a problem, it's the fact that PDW's don't hit hard enough to be worth using over Carbines. It's not like there's a lot of 'definition' in the weapons anyway tbh. All weapons are pretty much the same, except for strength: LMG > Assault Rifle > Carbine > PDW
If I were to divide them up though, it'd be:
Assault: Assault Rifle, Battle Rifle
Engineer: PDW, Shotgun
Support: LMG, DMR
Recon: SR, Carbine
Assault would be the assault, Assault Rifles are more easier but Battle Rifles hit harder.
Engineer would only have close range weapons, which seems to be what people want.
Support would have the special squad weapons for suppression or accuracy.
Recon would have Sniper Rifles if they want to snipe, or Carbines if they want to attack or place beacons.
I meant to post this earlier but I completely forgot
I think I have found the most fun gamemode/loadout combo ever.
Hardcore 32p Domination & UTS 15 (buckshot) + full choke + laser sight + sight of choice (I had RDS). Medic class works well with it so you can sustain yourself. Give it a go, I swear.
Take the .44 Magnum as well so you can snipe people who are out of the shotgun's range, although on HC DOM that's hardly the case.
If you open all of them (Battlepacks) as they come, you will still have locked items by the time you're at max rank.
How does that work?
How does that work?
The battlepacks choose from a pool of possible items being XP boosts, attachments, camos, paints, emblems, knives, dogtags, and portraits. I've heard from several people that say they have reached the max rank and still have knives/dogtags/whatever locked. I decided the best bet would be to open all of the weapon battlepacks first, removing the attachments from the possible pool of items. Since attachments seem to be the most common thing in rank-based battlepacks, removing them should give you all of the other stuff by the time you're 120, provided you have opened all or most of the weapon packs.
If anyone here has bf4 for ps4 and wants to play add me. WoodzyX56
Fun fact: The BF3 M16A4 + heavy barrel is twice as accurate as the CS 1.6 AWP
I have to say, it's amazing how a few camping snipers can totally ruin a good firefight most of the time. Especially in hardcore when you just have no idea where they are.
Any way to tell origin to download naval strike? My SSD was full when it automatically tried to download, and I've not found any way to download it after I freed up some space. When I join naval strike servers it just tells me I need the DLC.
Does anyone else still get bad stuttering even after all the patches? I'm getting pretty sick of it
I think I've decided to give up on this game. Really regret spending so much money on something so ridiculously broken, with no fix in sight.
All they had to do was make a modern BF2 and instead they keep serving us up this shit. No thanks
Does anyone else still get bad stuttering even after all the patches? I'm getting pretty sick of it
I think the stuttering is related to people with High ping. I was in a server where nobody was above 80 ping, and the game was buttery smooth.
Joined another server where there was a few people above 200 and there was quite a bit of stuttering / rubber banding.

it's a great feeling when all you do is counter-snipe snipers

Has anyone had any luck getting any refund at all?
Has anyone had any luck getting any refund at all?
Depends on a few things. If you've bought it within 7 days, you're covered by Origin's Great Game Guarantee where you can get a refund.
Outside of 7 days you'll be hard pushed to get a refund, unless, I guess, if you can prove that the game was not fit for purchase (Sale of Goods Ace 1979) e.g. if the game doesn't run on your PC even though your PC meets or exceeds the game's requirements. You probably won't get a refund if you say 'because the game is buggy and glitchy.'
It also depends on where you bought the game. If you bought it directly through the origin client you can open your order history on your Origin account and use the "Request a refund" function. If you bought the game through anything else you gotta deal with those guys not Origin.
oh, and with regards to your previous post, there is an upcoming update which is supposed to fix the 'Death Glitch'
I haven't played since late March, I'm a bit burned out on it too. I'm just gonna wait til they update the game and see how it plays.
Premium battlepack - one camo.
ok
I'm not particularly worried about unlocking everything. I doubt I'll be playing this game until I hit max level anyway.

I won't grind for Rank 120 because why the fuck should I. There are LOADS of people with max or nearly max rank and I do not understand them. why.
About unlocks: I'm only worried about the ones for the guns I use, that's it.

I'm nearly max rank but I don't play for rank. I've just played nearly 200 hours and I don't think I've even played that much really. I certainly haven't been playing since day 1 all day everyday, gone times without playing for months.
Just got most of my rank from XP boosters. I still have nearly 100 25% xp boosters, 40 or so 50% xp boosters and 5 or so 100% and 200% boosters
Think I've just got a shitload of points because I mostly play support. Since it's rare that any fucker drops ammo so I get loads of points from ammo. I really don't see the point in ranks at all if they're not related to weapons
