The burst fire thing is kind of unfixable. If there no sampling limit, people would just mod their input to fire as fast as possible. Heck, people are doing right now, they just can't fire as fast as they could otherwise.
Call of Duty 4, for instance, didn't have a sampling limit (or a very high one anyhow). You could practically fire pistols fully-auto:

well yeah cod also has optimal frame rates for the most fire rate
Having played CoD4 on the PC I'm not very surprised by the USP/Deagle/Barrett, I remember most people always shot those guns that quickly :v
Probably dumb but where can i find this CTE?
if you own premium, you should be able to sign up somewhere on the forum i believe.
This match felt pretty unfair

I have premium so that wont be the problem.
I tried searching it on the battlelog forums. Couldn't find it anywhere. Perhaps you have a link?
r/battlefield_4 usually has a post when the CTE signups are open
LSAT + Heavy Barrel + Ergo is too good. Great for mobile or aggressive support.
You have to register for CTE here:
LSAT + Heavy Barrel + Ergo is too good. Great for mobile or aggressive support.
Heavy barrel messes up the LSAT's best quality which is its recoil. at least use an angled/folding grip to balance the hbar's recoil.
Anyone play project reality?
I haven't played it since 2007, but holy fuck it's so optimized. I can't play on higher than medium, and half the time the game is still laggy as fuck.
I do from time to time.
I can be very rewarding but also frustrating depending on your team.
Heavy barrel messes up the LSAT's best quality which is its recoil. at least use an angled/folding grip to balance the hbar's recoil.
I don't find the recoil a problem at all with the Heavy barrel on the LSAT. Mainly because I tap fire when using it at longer ranges and I can burst fire for longer periods with the Heavy barrel. (Also, because I use the SCAR-H so often I can control the higher than average vertical recoil on most other guns)
Good thing with the Hbar and Ergo is that you can get the LSAT's movement ads to 0.86, nearing a base carbine ads movement stat of 0.8.

My point was that in BF3 and BF4 (and newer COD games too for that matter) they actively limit how fast you can fire your weapon so that once you click, it will only recognize a new input after x milliseconds. So if you click too fast, it'll miss one of the inputs and you will fire slower than if you had paced your shots (this is called over-sampling). You can still mod your input to shoot as fast as the weapon will allow but you don't get as much of an advantage as you would with no sampling limit.
I just came back to BF4 after playing a lot of games with minimal huds

I swear this is going to be BF5

I enjoy HC for the reason that the HUD is pretty much non-existant.
All aboard the microtransaction train!
Starting today, we are introducing a new way to acquire Battlepacks, the bundles of content that provide a mix of in-game items including accessories, emblem shapes, profile pictures, dog tags, XP boosts, knives, and paints. Bronze, Silver and Gold Battlepacks will be available for purchase at Origin.com, Battlelog.com, through the in-game store, at Xbox Live Marketplace and at the PlayStation Store. Pricing will be $1 for Bronze Battlepacks, $2 for Silver Battlepacks, and $3 for Gold Battlepacks.
Saw it coming as soon as they announced them before release
At least they had the decency to wait instead of throwing them at us on release.
Anyone know where this guy gets his info?

Oh gee. I always thought I just sucked at sniping in BF4.
Then my friend told me about zeroing.
Sniping is fun now, I don't have to look at clouds to hit people who are far away! I even made my own record within like 3 shots after learning about that, 960 meters. :v:

They found it all in the battlelog code.

uh
$3 for a chance to get two 50% exp boosts!1!
Once you're at level 50, you get a gold pack every level anyway. You'd have to be pretty bad at the game or desperate for time to buy any.

maybe it's aimed at those max level players who did not get all of the knives from the packs you get for leveling up
Imagine paying 3$ for a golden battlepack and getting this

(This was an actual battlepack I got)
Also some rumors have surfaced about Visceral's Battlefield.
Also some rumors have surfaced about Visceral's Battlefield.
Rumors have been confirmed.
All I can say is this:
I would of preferred 2143, the current known facts about Hardline make the game look like a ripoff of PAYDAY, and finally they really should of had more civilian firearms.
If Hardline is legit, I'm buying it no questions asked.

I dont even care if its bad. I love the idea of a true cops vs robbers
