That entire ordeal was very high risk high reward anyway.
It feels very one step forward, two steps back to me.
Commander is back, that's nice.
Then they go and some small scale CoD ass gamemode that the game will inevitably end up being balanced around because it's their NEW GAMEMODE.
So far I have no major complaints; I've only experienced a few issues, one of the most annoying being stuck at the loading screen--which only happens every once in a while. That or I get stuck in a perma-death and have to close the game then rejoin so I can spawn again.
So far gameplay feels well balanced aside from the most common issues. I really hate some of the strategic sniping spots and this is only because those building can't be destroyed/damaged in any way to help prevent a constant hail of sniper fire. It gets really annoying when they have squad members spawning back to back which makes holding some objectives really difficult.
Anyone know If I can preload the public beta? Or do I have to download it when everyone else is so its super slow downloading.

From what I know you can't actually load it now unless you bought premium before a certain date.

According to Symthic ARs have the same close up damage with slightly less ranged damage, there's more spread though.
I've also noticed it's a lot more difficult to manage spread because it's harder to figure out where your bullets are going with the new bullet fx. I'd love if they added bright sparks like CS so bullet impacts are clearly visible over a distance.

It also meant more jeeps on the move, if only for a short time. I hardly ever see MRAPs or the Chinese armoured transport doing anything but remain parked at their spawn points.

The MRAP is awesome because you can survive tank gunner bullets and avoid the main cannon by getting right up against the tank. And also run over the guys repairing it.

Where do people keep seeing the Little Bird? I haven't seen a scout chopper in all the time I've played the beta.
I think you have to play on 32 player servers or so, less flags (3(?)) and instead of attack heli there is a little-bird.
So apparently if you equip irons and the optical zoom options on your rifle via battlelog, it'll work ingame. I don't think they are doing equip checks via the site. :v:
