I've played the beta quite a bit now, and I actually think it's better than what I though it was going to be. Although that being said I was expecting it to be shit.
I'm glad you don't like it and all but it seems a bit cunty to shit on people who don't mind it.
And no, I don't come to the same conclusion.
The game is more fun than BF4 right now.

-the map design is half decent, everything feels decently 'fair' in the sense that there is always another way to access a building that someone isn't camping.
-I have only had a couple issues with hits not registering but you can blame they way they networked the game and the fact that the game uses physical bullets. while it could be 'improved' it isn't at a point where it is ruining the game
-how is it stupid? it's like payday 2 but not shitty
-it would be using more memory if it wasn't a browser and the game uses piles of memory for the textures and models. you can't expect an assload of high quality content while barely using any ram.

One of the (several) biggest problems I have with Battlefield 4, and to a extent Battlefield 3, is how weapons, gadgets and attachments are locked off to either higher levels of experience, or through assignments or some other arbitrary attempt to lengthen your play time.
While I have yet to be graced with Beta access to Hardline, I really dig the inventory system where you spend money you earn in game during a map to buy the weapons and gadgets. It means I don't have to cut through a ocean of weapons and gadgets I don't like or want to get that one item I'm really interested in.
It also incentives better balancing of the items since anyone can access them from the start, instead of Level only people from level 50 and above.

Talking from BF3 experience. I was fucking pissed when I first got the PP-2000, and had instead to grind my way to the UMP-45 (which, despite whatever it's faults might be, I am truly enjoying)
From what I've seen so far of Hardline I quite like how they've balanced the weapons and unlocks. I like how you get to ''pay'' for the weapons and attachments you want instead of stupid grinding to get the right scope of your choice. Although I'm not sure on them completely removing suppression. I think support should be the only one to do suppression and the other classes shouldn't. I'm not too bothered with them increasing the weapon recoil overall to all classes.
One thing I do hope they add in is the test range from Battlefield 4 into Hardline.
What would be even more nicer is if you could test out all the weapons and attachments on the fly so you know when you go to play; you know how to spend your money wisely.
I applied for the beta as soon as it was announced, but it wont start (Considering it's in fact a beta this behaviour is to be expected) but how do i actually report any issues that might show up during beta testing, cause that's what beta testing is for, ironing out any bugs and imbalance issues before the launch.
Mine doesn't even work. I load a map, the loading is literally 1 FPS, then Battlelog says I got an error and the game goes blackscreen with the loading logo still going at 1 FPS. wtf

IMO, Hardline isn't very good. The gunplay feels confused. They increase recoil, but it still takes a comical number of bullets to kill anyone, there are far too many hilariously huge tracers, and the bullet velocities seem very low.

Really feels like a bf4 DLC imo. Same UI (in game and battlelog), same weapons feeling. 60/70€ is wayyyyy too much.

Cmon EA dont fail me know. I've been through BF3 Alpha and Beta. Only this time I [I]want[/I] Hardline
So here are my thoughts, now that I've had a chance to look around at Hardline.
(As a pre note, yes I know its a Beta, but what's the point of a Beta if you can't give feedback)
Its a solid game, simply by the fact its based of Battlefield 4 which is a good game despite its flaws (A game can be good but not GOTY you know).
However, I think Battlefield:Hardline is completely missing the point of a Cops vs Robbers game, I feel the entire beta is just swapping the skins of the two factions away from US vs China to SWAT and Robbers. We have miniguns on helicopters, RPG's, military grade assault weapons ranging from Light Machine Guns to Assault Rifles with all the attachments in-between. I even saw a fucking Police Airplane/Drone Fighter in one of the trailers.
Where's the heisting? I don't feel like I'm playing as a Law Enforcer or a Robber, its just a case of "Oh, I'm a robber this round".
There needs to be escalation, we need a good multi-objective heist where the heat from both sides slowly escalates. Robbers start in or near the vault about to break in, the Police first responders arrive in squad cars armed with only Pistols and Tasers. As the objectives progress the SWAT get called in and bigger weapons start being used.
Hell, just move the two team's vaults in Blood Money FURTHER AWAY from the main vault so its actually further than 100 meters. That would encourage more High Speed interceptions and less of half the server running around with half a million dollars on their back.
I sincerely hope that the developers are just holding back the "good" stuff from the Beta and we have yet to see it. Cause right now, why should I spend around 40$-60$ on a reskin of Battlefield 4 with some new mechanics?
At least the Single Player looks interesting for once, not expecting much from that though given recent history.
TL;DR: Mechanics are solid and fun, but miss the point of a Cops vs Robbers game. Its basicly a DLC pack for Battlefield 4 plus some nifty additions.
I really like the weapon mechanics in hardline as opposed to battlefield 4, I don't know what it is about it but I genuinely LOVE using the fucking guns in hardline opposed to battlefield 4.

I was riding in the backseat of a sedan when the driver ditched it, the car continued to roll and I just continued to sit in the back seat and I felt like the grandmother from wolfenstein when I rolled up next to someone and blew his head off before switching seats and speeding off.
I've done that purposefully on street bikes where I just switch seats, gat someone then switch back and drive off. It's incredibly fun and I never got this level of 'fun' in Battlefield 3 or 4. Instead of playing being a chore so I can grind to the gun I want, it's something I really, really look forward to and enjoy.
I fucking love this game, I don't care if people regard it as 'a shitty BF4 DLC that overpriced, yadda, yadda, yadda.' It's fucking fun and I love playing it.
also the ingame cash is fucking awesome because I can buy the pieces of gear I want and have more overall fun because I can immediately get gear that fits my playstyle without having to suffer by grinding out stupid tasks.
