I guess they patched it, doesn't work for me.
Just played for three hours. As already said, enjoyable game since it builds off a lot of what Battlefield 4 did which, when it works, is also a lot of fun. The cops vs robbers theme is actually presented a little better than what I thought it would be but I still don't understand why both sides have APC's, RPG's, and gunships. It is nice that we no longer have to deal with tanks and IFVs though. On the plus side, tazing criminals, handcuffing them, and interrogating them is [I]cool as fuck[/I]. If it wasn't so counter-productive to playing objectives I'd do nothing but it.
Technically the beta is a bit of a mess for me. Game runs significantly worse than Battlefield 4 and the hit detection is even worse than BF4's, with several sniper/shotgun/taser shots just failing to register. Hopefully the beta fixes those but I highly doubt it. DICE has proven time and time again they are totally willing to release an unfinished project then patch it up to a merely tolerable state just in time for the next yearly release. Even then I'm not sure if its worth full price.

Visceral are still doing a lot, the visceral team reworked vehicle physics for Hardline - everyone knows the physics are dodgy.
I just played BF4 for the first time since the patch and wow am I glad things feel so much better. I can actually watch my tracers go from my gun and to my target, and see the hit marker when it makes contact. its feels so much better. I feel like I can actually use magnified optics now and the miniguns and all sorts of things

why is the tec9 full auto? couldn't they have picked a more fitting sidearm like a micro uzi or mp9 instead of making a semi auto gun full auto

If they come up with some nice, more unique gamemodes and expand on what they've done, i.e improving vehicle physics, then maybe it will be worth the full price tag. However if it's just what we've go right now with more maps + [I]standard[/I] gamemodes then hell fucking no.
Gotta remember this is an early beta, still a while yet before the game is due for release.
