Does anyone else have any bugged assignments? Part of "Make a Dent" is "Destroy an air vehicle with portable AA" which I've done several times with the stinger and the igla, but the MP7 won't unlock for some reason.
Have you already gotten the three AV ribbons? Did you get the "vehicle destroyed" message after shooting the heli down?

fucking really? granted i wouldn't get hardline till it was around 20-30$ but to sit here and get all pissy about hardline being a mod then you need to look back at 2142 and Vietnam for 1943. all those did was the same exact thing, maybe add a new gamemode or two and slap on new models and textures for vehicles and weapons. just wait for it to be on sale, which it most definitely will.
if theres anything to be mad about its BF3-BF4 since its nearly the same exact game.

Battlefield Hardline is at least far enough removed that I might, but still too pricey for me. Even in Pesos its still not very likely.

I just had a guy using some sort of ammo hack in the game I was playing to cover his car in roughly 300 C4, and he just drove into a fucking building and all you could hear across the map was this chain of explosions and the game overlooping the fucking dropping dirt/gravel sound.

I can understand the logic behind BF2 and 2142 being same and etc. but the difference between that and 4+Hardline is that Hardline has failed to make whole cops vs robbers atmoshpere to me. The fact it even has got Battlefield name in it is lame as fuck.

Speaking as someone who spent several months adminning servers using VAC and Punkbuster, I'd say Punkbuster is probably more effective at banning cheaters but also fucks up a lot more.
VAC is slightly less effective but it's entirely in the background and only has had a single case of false positives IIRC.

To be fair though, again speaking as an admin, I've seen seven Punkbuster false kick/bans in one day for a BF2 server I used to co-manage :v:

Can someone tell me how the fuck does PRESET Loadouts work?
I mean, can you even choose, or change, from one PRESET Loadout to another while in-game?
I have RUS and USA Engineer Loadouts, but what's the point of preset loadouts when you can't change them in-game?
Not to mention editing the preset loadouts on Battlelog which is also buggy, they don't seem to refresh/update properly.
Imo Hardline is waay too messy and cluttered as of now. The whole game is basically a slaughterfest without any emphasis on the whole "cops and robbers"-theme. I want to see smaller servers, more tactical decisions and a gameplay more like Payday and not just Battlefield with re-skinned characters. It has potentional but it's really not worth the full price right now.
