welcome to my life since bf3
i have no idea how you actually kill people in this game. i see skill montages and shit and it's like there's no way because whenever i play i can't even hit anybody
It's the exact opposite for me
Whenever I start bursting / magdumping at some guy, I could NEVER hit them in BF3. Sometimes had issue with single fire as well
Feels like weapons in BF4 have a much tighter grouping overall. I've gotten around liking the AK-12 and my first SCAR-H kills felt great
the only thing I dislike about the bulldog is the slow bullet velocity. I'm used to the AUG and the L85, and they have the highest bullet velocities of the ARs. I always end up tracking too far behind a moving target and it gets me killed. Mag size is an issue too, and it gets me killed a lot, but I can live with it.
I ain't even using Bulldog ever. I'm fine with M416, L85A2, AUG and SCAR-H.
For some reason, for me anything under 50fps feels really slow. I have the FPS counter on, and it never goes below 30fps, but it slows down all the time, and when it goes under 49 fps the gameplay is really sluggish and controls like jello. Has anyone else noticed this? it is a glitch or something I can fix?
Please respect mortar men trying to do their job and not run them over with unoccupied vehicles, thank you.
Had loads of Battlefield 4 Shadowplay footage left from last 10 months and decided to free up some hard drive space by turning them into videos.
Made two xXx1337xXx styled montages with very disturbing music to show that with right cutting and editing anyone can look like a "uber pr0". Still have 120 clips of random footage left which I will probably turn into few more reasonable videos.

What's your specs? I can run BF4 at like 80 frames maxed out, but when I turn on Shadowplay at any settings, the game runs fine for a few seconds, chugs and freezes, runs fine, chugs, etc. BF4 is literally the only game this happens with for me, and I've got a GTX 770 4GB.
I noticed that BF4 is currently on sale for £15.
So in a nutshell. Worth buying? (As a background, large fan of games like ArmA 3, I know BF isn't quite a Sim so to speak, but it isn't run and gun arcade crap like Call of Dooty.)

That's even less than what I have paid, and I'm having tons of fun with it. Well worth around 20€
Who wants to join me and RocketRacer?
So I bought BF4 a couple hours after my post. And played for a couple hours. Yeah I need to bubblewrap my room whilst playing. Damn.

What's the bubblewrap for?

I've no idea why, but Battlefield makes me rage REALLY fucking hard. And over small stupid things, which is really odd cause it's the only game that causes it. :suicide:

if you rage from a video game to the point that you throw shit
don't play video games

Play World of Tanks for a bit, Battlefield will feel like a fun ride in comparison.

for me, it's good because it gives me something to get mad at that isn't a person or something breakable.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 4GB, Intel Core i7-3820, 16 GB RAM and BF4 installed on SSD.

Yeah, it's the only game that's ever made me want to thus far. Really strange.
Play World of Tanks for a bit, Battlefield will feel like a fun ride in comparison.
I did. For a good year and a bit quite awhile back, and stopped playing cause of the evident crap they kept putting in. AND THE GODDAMN ARTY!! :suicide:
I just recently replayed the MW3 campaign on hardened and for some reason CoD single player has always made me rage harder than any multplayer shooter experience. Like in bf I can just accept that when I get killed the guy outgunned me or just had the upper hand, but when you get killed by the same bullshit enemy by he 50th time because they don't flinch when hit like the player does so despite the last three rounds I put into a guy his burst is still perfectly accurate and makes me flinch and lose my aim and kills me, then I have to see the same fucking 5quotes over and over the reload at the last checkpoint only to hear the same line of dialog I've heard every time trying this part and trying again only to get killed again and having to repeat ad infinitum.
I'll take dealing with a hacker in battlefield than playing cod4 on veteran any day

It was the same for me with CSGO comp and bf3 but eventually i just got over it and started actually playing the game.
Though I do understand how bf4 in particular can be frustrating, especially if you play alone so you have no one backing you up.
Random deaths like standing next to a collapsing building, flying over a collapsing building in a heli and dying, hovering 4 meters over the ground with a heli and getting killed by SLAM mines, getting autobalanced, getting hit by a guided missile trough flares/ecm and getting airshot by that sabot shell tank from across the map [sp] for the 4th time in a row[/sp] in one round can be pretty frustrating.
LAVs camping objs for easy kills really rustle my jimmies
I need to learn how to use burst-fire guns. I usually burt-fire on my weapons anyways, if target is medium to long range.

I can't quite put my finger on it to be honest. It's just small things that happen that just frustrate me to no end. Still I'm sure I'll eventually get to the point and just shrug it off and keep playing. Rather than rage, play some more, rage again.

It was frustrating for me at first as well because I couldnt get used to gun mechanics and game overall. Then it was all fine and I started rnjoying the game, especially when I got SRAW unlocked and found a fun combo for Lockers - silenced M416, underrail and M320
Had a hard time using the QBB-95-1 and the M60-E4, so I just went back with the MG4 and just mowed everything down.
MG4 op nerf pls
It's fun watching my progress over the last three Battlefield games. My K/D has been steadily increasing from like 1.8 in BFBC2 to 2.6 in BF4. My kills per minute had also been slowly increasing, from 0.5 to like 1.1 over the three games.

Rocket Racer, come farm assignments with me.
I wish I could, but I can't. I'll be able to maybe in the evenining by GMT.
Are there any good barrel attachments in BF4?
I remember the HBAR being a must have in BF3 due to the extremely usefull buffs it handed out, whilst still being quite usable.
Now I can barely cope with the muzzle climb on most weapons when I use it

There is no "God" barrel this time around, they're actually one of the most balanced attachments. I actually use all of them depending on the situation, they're very fun to experiment with.
