I can never find a server for that that is ever populated. Did you just get lucky or are you able to regularly play CTF?
The server that I play on all the time has a bunch of different game modes in circulation including Capture the Flag. I think the last time I played a game of capture the flag was Tribes Ascend, and before that probably the Halo series. I forgot how intense that game mode can get. Server/map size varies based on how many people are playing and the map, but I don't think the server ever allows above 48 players.
UCAV is fantastic
Nobody runs it anymore post-nerf but it's still super useful. I run ammo/UCAV on open maps and ammo/claymore on closed ones.
Man, Chain Link has grown to be my favourite game-mode, it's really satisfying.
Anyone tried Classic mode on the CTE? I'm loving it, it's like Hardcore without the OHK Snipers and not devolving into Lone Wolves going on their own. No 3d spotting/minimap spotting only, combined with a higher TTK feels so good.
I love these people on pistol-only servers. They only use Deagle and get 1-2 shots kills, yet bitch when I use G18 with a silencer. wtf people
without a shame, posting this here too. I keep losing internet connection all the time and these dances are becoming a tradition.
man I sure as hell suck at sniping. I need a good map where I can practice it properly. So far Lumphini Garden was ok for that.
Played Battlefield 3 again. My team won without even losing 10 tickets. Battle report

Or are you talking about the reduced bullet damage?
Can't decide wether to continue playing BF3 (since I don't have BF4) or reinstall Bad Company 2, the game I loved for so long but really suck at nowadays since I haven't played it in ages (and only the pros remain).
Don't you have the same health as Hardcore? The TTK should be actually lower. Or are you talking about the reduced bullet damage?
Well the damage model is the same as HC, but the CTE uses a higher ttk overall.
28-1? TEACH ME, MASTER!
I got 20-0 in one game using the QBB-95. Mind you, I was pretending to be a snail most of the game ninja-ing across the floor shooting people's legs.
http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/battlereport/show/1/491794781824037504/186082821/ We spawn camped so hard and half the enemy team left. It was brutal.
Would anyone be up for a round of BF3? I'm really bored right now.
Would anyone be up for a round of BF3? I'm really bored right now.
I would, but I haven't got all the DLC. (Only two I believe, back to karkand and close quarters).
Is tomorrow the day us subhuman non-Premium members get to purchase Dragon's Teeth?
Is tomorrow the day us subhuman non-Premium members get to purchase Dragon's Teeth?
I wouldn't bother. Pretty much none of the DLCs for BF4 are worth it, and paying $15(?) for any of the DLCs individually to get maybe one good map out of it and some unbalanced weapons is just a waste of money
God damnit spencer, quit ruining my master plans
God damnit spencer, quit ruining my master plans
Oh shit, haha. That was you? [editline]28th July 2014[/editline] Don't thank me, thank the AWS.
People talk so much shit about the Chinese rifle and carbine, and I understand why, but I still love these guns. You slap a heavy barrel on them and they become dead accurate while still maintaining all the bullpup benefits. The first shot recoil is so low on them to begin with that the heavy barrel barely affects them. I run them with either hbar+ergo+rdot for close range or hbar+angle+3.4x for long range. Because it's so easy to aim, it's a headshot machine. [editline]29th July 2014[/editline] I'm also really looking forward to when the CTE changes make it to the live server. The QB rifles all suffer from some serious scope sway. Bad Company 2 taught me to ignore the sights so I'm pretty decent at compensating for it, but still. They're also one of the few rifles that I can reliably run 3.4x optics on so they're going to benefit big time once those two changes go live.
I used to run with x3.4 scope on many weapons in BF3. I can't use them on any weapons in BF4, aside maybe from sniper rifles.
so im a big fan of BC2 and BF3 is bf4 worth the money cause im conflicted
so im a big fan of BC2 and BF3 is bf4 worth the money cause im conflicted
not really. The most I would (and did) pay for BF4 is $30. It's okay, but the maps and gunplay are less interesting and it inexplicably runs worse despite looking almost exactly the same as BF3 (apparently a blue tint instead of a green tint costs about 20 fps). There's also barely any destruction at all except for the like, two maps where you can blow up the big skyscraper or the big dam and that's it. You can't collapse any buildings except for like, maybe three or four maps. Pretty much the only thing going for it is that it's more populated and there are a few new weapons.

The abundance of weapons and equipment is one of its main weaknesses because of balancing issues, so many of them being useless and whatnot. It has more well-designed maps than BF3 as well as more meaningful destruction imo.
so im a big fan of BC2 and BF3 is bf4 worth the money cause im conflicted
At this point I've played more BF4 than I did BF3, and I had just over 200 hours on BF3. Battlefield 4 is what BF3 should have been if you ask me and I'm enjoying it a lot more than I did BF3. Most of the netcode problems have disappeared with the CTE patches and it's only going to get better as they continue to roll out more CTE fixes. If you can find the base game for cheap (About $30 or less) I'd recommend picking it up.
so im a big fan of BC2 and BF3 is bf4 worth the money cause im conflicted
You liked BF3? You'll probably like BF4 even more. 4 has more refined details to it that 3 lacks, though 4 still has some issues, it's better than 3 in some ways.

FPEU, who wants to kick some ass in an hour or maybe earlier?
