Athlon II x4 640, 8Gb DDR3 RAM, GTX 460, and a normal HD. I can get a somewhat decent framerate (30-60fps) on all medium, no AA, no SSAO/HBAO, no motion blur, at 1080p, but only if I use gamebooster and play in 32bit mode. 64bit mode has stuttering issues, shitty framerate, and general shittyness, at least on Windows 7. Windows 8 users get a small performance boost of about 10-15 fps.
If you really want to get a battlefield game, get Bad Company 2. It doesn't have 64 players or maps as big as BF4, but almost everything else is better. Including the graphics and destruction physics. Plenty of people still play it (which is weird because almost no one at all plays BF3 anymore) and it isn't a glitch-ridden, horrible, unbalanced and unoptimized mess with DLC that costs as much as the full game

Does BF4 still have the dog tags that show many kills you with a weapon or how many revives you have? I haven't seem a single one of those dog tags
It does, get 500 kills with a weapon and you get it. Though it's really bugged for me and doesn't show kills to me when enemies kill me with these tags. I jyst get " Kills" written on a dogtag for some reason.

The problem with shield is:
-Glass breaks way too fast. It should be totally immune to small fire arms (AR, LMG, SMG, SHOTGUNS), take at least 3 direct hits from a bolt action, increased resistance to small/portable explosives (C4, Slam, Mines, Claymores, nades).
-Useless melee damage. Currently shield does 25 damage per swing, you die at 2nd swing most of the time.

I don't care about melee, DICE ruined my dream of almost indestructible wall that I can place for mmy allies to use as cover and advance through small corridors more safely. Instead it breaks in one tiny explosion and you can die in no time.
I swear that netcode has gotten worse in some cases, I'm getting a ton of desyncs of where people are looking, or my character clearly being in the wrong place serverside. I'm not even talking about being shot around corners, but straight up dying out in the open by a sniper when I've been inside a building for a while.

Well no shit, you have a three generation old gpu thats not even optimized for bf4, and an old amd cpu. I have an I5 and 670 and get 50-60 fps and 1 minute load times on an HDD. If you really want better performance update your rig.
My brother runs it on a Dual core AMD CPU, 4gbram and a 5770 1gb card pretty smoothly on medium.
And I run it perfectly on a I5, 8gbRam and 560TI. Not sure what to say really. Although an upgrade would be good.
The glass should be indestructible, the shield should actually cover your feet, and you should take massively reduced splash damage while wielding it. Also having it on your back should block bullets accordingly.
Instead of what we have now, a shield that is worse in every way compared to it's CoD counterpart in a game that has vastly more ways to counter a shield than CoD ever did. It's beyond pointless to the extent that it's honestly offensive they wasted dev time on it at all.

I seriously haven't seen the end of a round in two days because the fucking thing keeps crashing halfway through a match, I've tried repairing the install, checking for an update, starting in 64bit instead of 32 bit and nothing stops it from fucking crashing nonstop

BF4 still runs like shit for what it is. I should be getting a lot more out of an i5 and 760 than I am, and I do with any other game, but BF4? Unoptimized as fuck.
