Just did exactly this for about an hour on a pistols only map, pretty great. So the deagle basically feels like cheating, that thing is fucking strong.

Honestly I prefer the Unica to the Desert Eagle. Plus something about the way your guy holds the Desert Eagle looks stupid to me and it's really off putting.

I think its because of how wide the grip is that your hands dont go all the way around it. I honestly just want the Deagle simply for the fact that it has a reload animation that isnt exactly the same as all the other self loading pistols. Same reason I loved the 1911 in BF3, apart from me just liking the way it felt/ handled.

Many people asked/begged on the forums for some manner of customizing the servers for BF4. With no avail...

Right now, there are no "pistol only" / "bolt-rifle only" on PS4.

And to get that deagle unlocked, join some hardcore servers and pwn some noobs :D
(Although I'm not a fan of the whole console auto-aim helper, if I would play BF4 on PS4, I would get a xim4 and plug a keyboard & mouse in that bitch)

Xim4 will be available at a later date, it's available for preorders on demand...

It's been around ever since regular joes got into online gaming, so about mid-late 90's. Before that, most of the people playing online had to have at least some level of computer knowledge to get there in the first place.

I remember at least as early as Starsiege Tribes people talking about lag and not knowing shit, like one guy who assumed a higher ping was better. Someone than told him pings were more like golf scores and he got mad lol. Tribes came out in 1998 but I remember hearing "other people lag me" before that. So basically, people have thought that high pings lag everyone else since online gaming opened up to the general public... along with many other computing myths.

SLAMS will go off if another thing explodes near them. It looks like there was just enough delay to detonate them in midair, blowing up the chopper.

They don't sometimes. Most of the squad leaders don't even accept orders, I'm sure they don't even know that I gave them order in first place.

seriously though, i like pistols only servers, but my experience is getting shat on because 60% of the players on the servers equip it. you either pray to god you get a kill with the other semi-auto pistols and mash your mouse button until it breaks, or you equip the magnum or rex and have to deal with the crappy delay

here's what deagle has that the stock .44s don't:

-faster firerate
-no trigger delay
-bigger magazine size
-better hipfire

there's no reason not to nerf it

I know I can go the p2w route and get premium, but I'm not really willing to fork over money to ea's bankvault

the delay is bullshit anyway. who thought it would be good for the balance of the handcannons?

i cringe for every milisecond my bullet doesn't expel from the barrel and at the enemy, almost to the point where watching paint dry would be more satisfying
