Anyone have an idea on WHY the level geometry loads forever in singleplayer, causing weird glitches and scripted sequences not working.
OI how do u get the acb-90 in this? it mentions veteran or similar, not sure what it means though. veteran hasnt been used since bc2

Don't your Russians sound like Russians at least? After getting the excuse of "it would cost too much memory" or something it's disappointing that BF4 still has that weird balance of one voice in Russian/Chinese for spotting and another in English with the worst accent ever for everything else.
I guess your Americans and Chinese would sound like Russians as well, but it's still disappointing.

I got a "Veteran Battlepack" when I activated my BF4 key, the knife was in there.

Crashing aside, the game seems to run much better now. I'm getting roughly the same fps with ultra textures and the rest high as I was with ultra textures and medium. I can use SSAO now too.
Gotta love spending 5 minutes in a ridiculously long loading screen just to have the game crash within 5 seconds of actually playing.

I guess BF4 MP is similar to BF3 MP in the sense that you have to launch battlelog first, choose a server which then launches BF4 for you?

How do you earn Battlepacks? Is it still like in Beta, you get one each 3 rank ups, or you get one each rank, and when will you get higher tier ones?

Asus G75vx plays perfectly on high settings, though the nvidia experience thing keeps telling me I should 'optimize' it at all low settings. Good all around machine provided you don't mind hefting it around

You get a bronze one every 2 rank and a gold every 10th(?) rank. You also get Specific weapon Battlepack for using a weapon (get 150kill ect)

MSi CX61 - i7, nVidia GT 645M(w/ 2GBVRAM), 8GB RAM - beta was running fine on medium.
for those wondering what the fuck the deal is with veteran battlepacks:
owning another battlefield game will get you veteran status (obviously) and a veteran battlepack. there was an error on dice's part with the distribution of these battlepacks, and they will be distributed to all veterans as soon as they fix it

I have an older [URL="http://www.asus.com/Notebooks_Ultrabooks/G53SW/#specifications"]G53SW[/URL](base model with an i5) that can run the game decently on medium. So really anything with a card that is better than the GTX460M should be ok.

Except I have a Asus G74SX-A1(1-3 years old) and I run on medium with maybe 30 fps.
Also, beta drivers seem to be crashing me more and rubber banding too. I'll just revert back.
The base model is 1366x768, makes a big difference.

1) You can't just save the game, it goes by checkpoints.
2) You can just load the mission again and play through it to get all 3 endings, yes. I would have been FURIOUS if you couldn't.

I have veteran status on all Battlefield games becase EASupport guy gave me those when I told him that I have BF2 but don't have the veteran status and dogtag. Will I get as many packs as veteran statuses I have? :v:

What annoys me is that I can play it smoothly, even on ultra, yet various moments it decides to freeze up, then it will start playing smooth, etc.
Not sure if it's because my computer needs a clean up, as sometimes it's as slow as ass on the desktop.

i've been having this too even with drivers and everything updated. it makes multiplayer literally unplayable at times
i'll be doing great and running a good 30+ FPS and then the game will just choke at any random time and then stay that way. And then it just stays unplayably laggy. we're talking from 30FPS to a slide show
