Probably the best game I've ever played.
Got a huge urge for BF fter playing BF3. So I bought BF4 after accidentally only buying the Premium DLC for BF4.
I noticed that I'm getting weird stutters for some reason. No matter if I run the game on low or on ultra. It just kinda stops for 1-2 seconds when I look towards some more graphic intense areas. But once it's finished stuttering it works quite well. But then when I turn around, it happens again.
I've unparked my cores, an that seemed to give me higher frames, but still stutters.
Are there any fixes for this that doesn't involve getting better gear?
Oh, and how come there are so many rank 100+ guys. Crap it took me like 3 hours to get to rank 3 :v:

What are your specs? Got latest drivers? Try running in x86 mode if you're not running that.

My specs are pretty okay, EXCEPT, the CPU that's from like 2009. It's a AMD Phenom 2 550 BE I think. Probably it I guesS?

The game's been out for almost a year now, and some people play it nonstop; even playing casually since release you can get pretty far (I'm 117 I think). Make sure to use XP boosts, they greatly speed up the first twenty or so levels (hit esc, in the bottom right corner is the boosts button).

Go in the task manager while the game is running and give bf4.exe realtime priority. See if that fixes it.

100% and 200% xp boosts in a double xp event make even the higher levels fly by too. I was getting two or three levels per round during the last double xp event and got from rank 91 to 99 in a few hours.

As lovely as Mumble is, it's not as widely used as Teamspeak AFAIK. Last time I was on with Facepunch we all used Teamspeak.

113hours into the game, only rank 62. I use boosters all the time, and by buying Premium you get loads of battlepacks which gave me more than 40 boosters.

200% boosters best boosters. Also tip: all the points count towards gun and equipement unlocks, so if you want to unlock more assault rifles, use them with a booster, or if you want to get SRAW asap, play engineer with a booster.
100% xp and 200% xp boosters + double xp event = mad leveling

If you have premium, I'd advise to keep your 100% and 200% boosters for double XP events because they do stack.
Double XP event + 200% booster = 6 times faster XP gain.
How can I see when Double XP events are due to take place? How often do they occur?
Also, I played TDM yesterday and I sucked dick at it. I was basically a pincushion for the enemy bullets. I would try my best and maybe on a good life I'd get one, maybe even two kills. But I'd die far more than I killed.
I do much better on Conquest maps. However, I want a gamemode that'll allow me to rank up weapons really quick. Any tips for TDM / whatever gamemode is best for ranking weapons up?
Jesus, I just played a 64 player Operation Locker Team DM on what I think was hardcore. I gained 4 new types of grenades in a single round :v:

I don't really recommend TDM, it's not very enjoyable to me and it kind of defeats the purpose of BF4 being an objective-based game. If you really want to rack-up kills, try conquest lockers or conquest metro (32 players is my preference). Any of the chain-link maps will work too.

Yeah. On Golmud Railway our team spawned in an open area, surrounded by buildings. Guess where the enemy team was camping?
Haven't played since just before Dragon's Teeth went public (Premium had it though).

Battlelog says I have a browser update available, but every time I download and run it, it still says there's a browser update available, making it so I can't play BF4 at all.

Question: Will SLAMs and mines work in shallow water? On boats?
Pretty sure only SLAMs will work under water.
Mines need to be activated by 'pressure', so unless the boat physically hits them I don't think it'll work. Use SLAMs.

I remember reading on reddit that the veteran battlepacks are not being handed out anymore
