I've been playing a lot of CTE lately and the recent changes to DMRs made them finally playable in my opinion. I can do quite well with them now, unless the enemy spots me first in close quarters.

Do the changes to DMRs mean they will be super super OP in hardcore mode?

DMRs were the first thing for me to max out in this game before the patch, I haven't played them since though. I wonder how they play :v:

They only increased the bullet velocity. It's more that everything around them has changed, which ends up in an indirect buff. The netcode is better, the sights all work correctly now, the assault rifles all do slightly less damage across the board, which matters most at long range. All of those things benefit the DMRs more than most guns.

Man, I was so good in BF3, but it's pretty hard to maintain a positive K/D ratio in BF4. Sucks. I just don't know why it's so hard in BF4.

Wow, hardcore SAS server has a pretty retarded plugin. Sniper limit, okay...dmrs count as sniper rifles..buh okey, getting in a vehicle takes you out of the sniper limit..what the fuck?! So I spawn with DMR because it's a big map, get in a helo and eventually get brought down, only to find out I get slain by the server because I was taken out of the sniper limit while in the vehicle, letting someone else spawn with a sniper weapon meaning i'm killed for exceeding the limit. Am I the only one who finds this fucking stupid? I can get the idea of someone in a vehicle being annoying and taking up a sniper slot while not actually playing sniper but killing you after leaving? At least wait till I need to respawn and just force me to choose a different weapon!

Solution: Don't play hardcore.

My game stutters like mad, it's not graphical cus I got good hardware / put all the graphical settings to low to test it. Still stuttering. Any clues on how to combat this? Really fucking annoying when you game decides to shit its pants right in the middle of a fire fight.

It was a pretty shit joke if it means being genre-blind. Damage numbers are completely arbitrary in the first place. Oh, and just so you know it still takes two headshots in hardcore.
