Out of beta, at last? :v: [sp]It's just a run-in-to-the-ground joke, alright![/sp]
OPTION TO TOGGLE MINIMAP ROTATION, PATCH CONFIRMED FOR GOD'S WORK
There are so many HUD options; finally it can scale with distance.
Speaking of SLAMs, do they stay on the map forever? I was playing as an engie, placed a couple, died, respawned as an assault, 5 minutes later I got a kill off one.
That's what I assumed, as long as you don't go over the limit it won't despawn.
I'm loving the patch so far; too bad they can't patch players into following orders :v
classsssssssic mode yay
Classic mode is a very good idea but it has one problem that drives me crazy. There's no health lockers. In all the old Battlefield games there were health lockers and ammo boxes scattered around the map so that if you can't find a medic you can find one of those health lockers and heal back to 100. Because there aren't any of those in BF4, if you're not a medic and you get hurt, you're going to be entering every fight with less than 100 HP. Other than that, which makes engagements feel very RNG because of how variable everybody's health is, classic is a great idea on so many levels. It really does make Battlefield 4 feel like the older games and it makes the maps feel so much larger than really are. Without the doritos, engagement ranges are hugely reduced and 3.4/4X optics now mean a lot more because you can use them to find targets. It's a lot of fun and feels very fresh.
I'm loving the patch so far; too bad they can't patch players into following orders :v
Next up on the CTE servers is what DICE is calling the teamwork update. It mostly sounds like they're boosting the amount of points given for playing the objective but I wouldn't be surprised if there's a few more tweaks or maybe even a new feature or two on top of that.

I don't remember that feature from BF2142 atleast
I only remember it being in 1942.
Classic mode is a very good idea but it has one problem that drives me crazy. There's no health lockers.
What's a health locker :v:
What
They were these green cabinets scattered around the map, usually around bases. Basically fixed medpacks, that way you could always find some way to get your health back if there wasn't a willing Medic class guy around. I could have sworn they were in BF2 as well, but the more I think about the more I'm not sure anymore. I remember them mostly from 1942. This one is yellow tinted for some reason, but this is what they looked like. BF2 only had the commander dropped supply crates and the medic in vehicle healing everyone around it.
BF2 only had the commander dropped supply crates and the medic in vehicle healing everyone around it.
Medic had medkits but he couldn't throw them, only hold in his hands and stand near anyone who needs to be healed.
Medic had medkits but he couldn't throw them, only hold in his hands and stand near anyone who needs to be healed.
Did you play BF2?
Medic had medkits but he couldn't throw them, only hold in his hands and stand near anyone who needs to be healed.
Did you try mouse 1?
ah maybe I just completely forgot about it. I played it 5 years ago last time [editline]30th September 2014[/editline] oh yeah I just remember how I used to throw medbags with their fancy physics
I love this update. I'm really happy about that option that makes the third person jet cam feel like BF3's.
Here's all the gun tweaks in this patch in number form. Pretty much every gun in the game was adjusted in some way. It's definitely worth checking out. http://forum.symthic.com/battlefield-4-technical-discussion/8395-30th-september-bf4-patch-notes-symthic-style-updated-with-attachments/
I've only played the update so far on my laptop, but even then it felt much better. Maybe its psychological but idk
Tank whoring is alive and well at least.
So how does the damage change work? Is that how CTE has been the whole time?
I didn't spot anything being done about AA. Is it still the number one remedy for bad KD? I think I've had like 3 rounds where I died more than 0 or 1 times during the whole round with AA. And those rounds were me being a shitty tank and capturing points etc. with the AA because my team sucked. :v:
Is this patch worth reinstalling the game?

And all weapons with silencer equipped have bigger speed than previously. [editline]1st October 2014[/editline] oh my P90 has a giant list as well as SVD
Is this patch worth reinstalling the game?
I did, and I found it worth it.
Flash hider and Green Laser Sight for Desert Eagle is locked in game for me, but it is unlocked in battlelog. That's very strange.
