This is why I've started using ammo and med packs instead of bags because they can usually fly far away and reach a teammate who is running away.
You also don't need to be fairly accurate with them, just throw them at the general direction of your teammate and it should work.

Now that you mention it, I should try using those small ammo packs. Considering grenade replenish times have been increased the smaller packs seem a better choice for tdm and domination gamemodes.
Classic mode is really great. It's all I've ever wanted!

I also like how the defib beeps.
The triage/defib changes are incredibly good. Makes playing a medic easier and more rewarding.

no killcam, no 3D spotting, reloading makes you waste the rest of the bullets in a magazine, and lots of other changes

No health or vehicle regen either. I initially hated that but after playing I really like it. Especially in terms of vehicles. It's so nice to know that when you do damage to a vehicle, that damage is permanent. It makes long term strategies work a lot better since it's no longer a mad rush to kill a vehicle as fast as possible and in one life. There's no third person either, so sneaking up on tanks and vehicles is a lot easier than it used to be. Those two are great changes to the vehicle play of the game and I'm saying this as somebody who is a huge tank and jet whore.
I love that if you want to repair your vehicle, you need to find somewhere safe and get out to repair. It's very BF2 and I forgot how much I like that dynamic and risk.

It's a shame there aren't more Classic mode servers. Lucky for me, the server I frequent most happens to be one of the few that runs it 24/7, but when that server isn't populated my options are very, very limited.
Classic is the lovechild of Normal and Hardcore.
Got this for ps4, thinking of purchasing one of the map packs but only really want to spend money on one of them. Any suggestions which one is best?
I just can't bare to spend anything more than £11 on something which just adds 4 maps. £39.99 for the season pass? I could get an entire different game for that.

I have the opposite problem, as an engineer I'll often find myself chasing down a tank trying to repair it whilst the idiot inside drives away from me.
Classic mode also probably has respawn on squad leader only

If you buy only one you might find with Australian servers atleast you wont be able to play on most of them.
Here its all or nothing. With Premium, you get all of them, I'd believe its worth it as Final Stand is coming out soon and everyone will be playing that.

Is anyone still having crashing issues? After around 10-15 minutes, the game just freezes up and it says Battlefield 4 has stopped working.

Check your drivers, your hardware temps and the softwares launched while playing.

What softwares launched could affect it? I have origin overlay turned off. I'm using the latest AMD drivers with a R290
The best kind of kills, for me, happen when you're just pot shotting someone wicked far away with a rifle (usually you can only see their Dorito) and you manage to kill them.

Yes actually. That was announced today I think and it will probably be cheaper than buying the full game + premium now unless you find some really great deals. It's coming on October 21st.

I had a really good round as a chopper gunner earlier, but man is it hard to gun in Classic mode. Without 3d spotting its impossible to see infantry without zooming in, and its even worse since I was on siege of shanghai and the building was down. also fuck people who are low on health and then run away from me while im trying to throw a bag down
So, basically everything before the Premium Edition was Early Access, and this is the full release.
Hope someone has some good deals on it for christmas.
Finally got round to re-installing BF4 after doing a fresh re-install of Win 7. Is this supposed to happen with the PKA-S sights now? Before I'm sure the outer ring was red, now it's black.
