I almost only play Hardcore.
Normal has it's charm, but I just loathe having to shoot a guy for so long until he dies.
Getting kills from +100m in normal without a sniper rifle is such a fucking chore.
Getting one shot in the chest constantly by sniper rifles because half the enemy team is snipers in hardcore is a fucking chore.

Classic is the best of both worlds and fortunately my favorite server switched over to it once it was available. I just wish there were more servers running Classic.

Not just balanced but designed for. It's incredibly obvious that "hardcore mode" in Battlefield games is simply removing parts of the UI and lowering health numbers.
I've played hardcore a few times with friends on BF3 and some on BF4 (mostly to get easy weapon ribbons, because that's what hardcore is, easy) but I just can't stick with a game mode that doesn't support the full variety of gameplay options Battlefield offers.

This is what I do when I'm dragged into hardcore servers. My overall KDR is 1.7 but if I play hardcore with a sniper rifle and low magnification sights I can easily go 3:1, usually only ever dying to another sniper who happened to get their shot off first.
It's strange to me that I die in less than a second from someone frantically shooting me with full auto from 50+ meters away while they strafe, when it can take me 2-3 hits with a shotgun at less than 15 meters to down someone.
Also, how do I get better at flying in BF3? The instant I takeoff in a helicopter or jet, I'm targeted by a TOW launcher or an enemy flyer.

BF3 has a "below radar" mechanic, where lock on missiles won't be able to target you
Shotguns are actually pretty weird in BF4, for some reason the exit point of the buckshot is influenced by the direction you strafe in, so you have to compensate even at point blank range
I just tried to buy this game via Origin, I went with the Premium Edition. Upon purchasing, I discovered that Premium Edition does not come with the base game like the description of the product advertised:

Premium Edition should come with the base game, contact support.

I contacted someone from support named 'Robin.' He/she said that Premium does not come with the base game, and that I should purchase the base game. I told him/her that I was extremely irritated and told them to give me a damn refund. Supposedly it's in the process of being, well, processed. I have no way to verify that.

Edit: Upon doing a little more research, I found out that Premium does not come with the full game. Even so, the Origin page is very misleading. When I see something that says 'get the game,' followed by a bunch of expansion packs that come with it, I would want to buy it because it comes with everything. Bullshit advertising.

Hmm, well I bought the premium edition through Origin and it gave me the base game along with the other stuff. Are you sure you specified that you bought Premium Edition instead of Premium because it seems Robin thought you bought the Premium for BF4(which doesn't come with the base game) instead of Premium Edition(which it should come with the base game.)

No, I specified that I bought the Premium Edition, she looked at the order, and informed me that it doesn't come with the base game. I only bought it because it came with all the expansion packs, and what I assumed was the base game as well.
Hmm, if you still have it, try and let it download completely and try to play singleplayer or join a server. If either of them works, you probably do have the base game.

A couple years ago, there was a video series of Battlefield 3.(I know this is a Battlefield 4 thread, but this is the active one.)
The series was basically a 'Battlefield Thunderdome' deal. It had commercials, a lot of popular YouTubers doing commentary, etc.
I've been searching for an hour to find it, no luck.

The whole point of Premium Edition and not just Premium is that it costs more than Bf4 alone and comes with base game and Premium.

I'd use those two pages in your argument with support. They appear to have fucked something up.
Unless you bought the one on the right in which case, no you don't get the base game.
If you bought right, you should get it, and if they state that it still doesn't come up with it, hit them with this extremely misleading double listing. You can threaten them with false advertising if it comes to it. In that case they'd have to give it to you.

Also rubber banding central whenever it pleases.

I'm strictly joining EU servers and at times just UK servers.
