Oh god, when was that made available?!?
If it's a short and sweet campaign, I'll probably give it a go on a rainy day. If it's shit, i'll persevere for them unlocks.
The story is pretty 'MURICA and funny
The facial expression can get weird sometime
Expect bugs like Irish shooting his gun in an idle animation
RECKER
How does the system work? Are you randomly given some packs every weekend or what?
I really want more IR optic unlocks so I want to find a way to get battlepacks.
Haven't got a clue, my only guess is because of my rank, I got a battlepack for each rank over...some arbitrary number maybe?
Really not sure. Being premium also probably added to it

Wasn't it like you need to be rank 100 and for every (class) service star you have you get 1 golden battlepack?
I just finished the campagin and it made me cry.
[sp]Didn't blow up anything, got the "To Valhalla" achievement. Didn't wait throught the outro titles, quit. The achievement was gone.
Had to redo it all.
Fuck this

I swear the end titles are longer then the campagin itself.
If I remember right, I didn't get the achievement/gun on Battlelog until a few hours later. I did sit through to the end of the credits though, and by sit through I meant I went to the bathroom, read a book, cooked dinner, and then browsed Facepunch.
Redoing the last level of the campaign 3 times (5 because it likes to break) to get multiplayer unlocks is the worst.

Well I meet those criteria so I guess that might be it
wait what? I didn't have to sit through the credit for the unlocks
I had to do it three times though and I'm so good at it I bet I can speedrun it on hard in 5 minutes

Just have to replay the last mission and do all 3 endings. P90 + laser sight is pretty decent imo.
Had my first bf4 game last night, on that map that floods during the match, the one with the highway. Really fun map, jumping off rooftops to avoid enemy squads and having to dive to avoid the 25mm cannon helicopters. All those who crazy flanking routes. Hope the other maps are as enjoyable. It'll take forever to learn them though, since there's like five DLC's worth of stuff plus the base gane.
Most people here hate Flood Zone :v:
Flood zone rocks

I can see it being a clusterfuck with the sparse cover on the rooftops if the server is full, but when I played there were maybe 20-30 players at best.

With only a few exceptions, most maps play best with 24-48 players and feel like they were designed that way. Only a handful of the DLC maps like some of the Final Stand and China Rising maps can handle 64 players without feeling like a claustrophobic clusterfuck.
There will be an announcement today.
Hope it'll be night versions of the maps.
I guess the "The Road Ahead" post is the "announcement".
basically an announcement of an announcement that we already knew about. v:v:v
Man, all I want is Dragon valley, Fushe pass and Daquing Oil Fields.

If you don't vote for Kharg Island we need to talk after class

Same here. I always really liked those three specific maps in Battlefield 2 so I voted for them. However I do wonder how well they might make the transition to BF4. Battlefield has changed a lot since then and one of the reasons I really dislike the new Oman is because a literal translation of it (which it very nearly is) just doesn't work with the pace and weapons/vehicles of modern Battlefield. Classic mode helps a lot to alleviate it, but it still doesn't feel "right."
Something else that poll made me realize is how much I loved some of 1942's maps. Although again, I don't know how well they would translate into modern Battlefield because of things like view distance, increased ranges, and increased speed. Those same reasons are why I worry about bringing more BF2 maps back. They probably need to be scaled up or something to compensate for how fast modern Battlefield is by comparison.
Either way, I really miss the Africa maps like El Alamein (sweet tank and air combat), Gazala (sweet canyons), and Tobruk (great mix of tank, infantry, and city) so I voted for all of those plus Bocage and Wake as they were also favorites of mine in 1942.
I wonder what they're planning here

Also Damavand Peak in Rush
HMMMM
Valparaiso is the only map I need

I used to agree with this opinion, until the chopper rape started happening
If maps like Grand Bazaar, Damavand Peak, and Arica Harbor were in BF4 I might actually be able to find some quality rush servers.
