By the way, map layouts are diffirent. 32 player Conquest map is smaller than 64 Conquest Large map. So you can safely say that this map was designed with 64 players in mind. At least had a "64 player compatibility design pass", if you will.

How about they just acknowledged that some players like those meatgrinders so they left it in? And so that they don't have to kick players if a server switches maps? If people keep complaining about these experiences just because DICE allowed server owners to 'misconfigure' their setups, we'll just end up with even more locked-down games.
The cq maps aren't designed for 64 players so I wouldn't judge them based on that. The same way you don't judge a map based on a session with just 4 players.

The mission with the dam, I fell off the scaffolding about to make the final jump and the game checked pointed right before I died from height, after the checkpoint loaded I spawned at the button of the dam and was just like oh shit what the hell am I going to do?? Lucky me I done just enough for the game to tell me to pull the trigger and when I did, I was suppose to pull the trigger next to my AI buddies but I was at the bottem of the dam so after I pulled it, my character or camra proceeding to its little shaky cam while I floated up into the air and back to my teammates.
My feed thing keeps saying I have at least three premium battlepacks, or whatever they're called, but there is nothing there :l

Because last time I checked, and I'm repeating myself, there's a gamemode called Conquest Large, which employs bigger map layout, designed to accommodate for 64 players. And Operation Lockdown supports this game mode. It's not like someone tinkered with server and allowed full blown 64 players on that map. It's DICE basically saying this: "we designed this map and this layout for 64 players, and we included it on official game servers, we take full responsibility for that".
And that gives me the right to criticise their half-assed effort to make all maps playable in every gamemode, with any number of players.
"Isn't designed for 64 players", what kind of excuse is that? If it's really not designed, then it only makes it worse - DICE included a gamemode on a map that doesn't support it.

only played like 30 mins so far but this could be BF2's ammo system where if you reload you lose whatever was left in that mag

Yup some servers have "mag pool" like that, I believe it's a toggleable feature, might be wrong though.
Learn not to waste ammo, your stupid soldier just throws half used mags on the ground (as opposed to, you know, utilizing mag pouch?).

I heard it's a bug which forces servers to have it on. Once they fix it I doubt most servers will have it.

I was on the third mission right after [sp]Kovic dies[/sp] and you go up the ladder, I collided with Irish's butt halfway up and got launched at a high parabolic arc like 400 meters off the carrier into the sea.
It didn't kill me apparently, now i'm just yucking it up out in the ocean where you can still dive and swim and shit.

I ended up just sniping him
holy shit guys take advantage of the noob pilots, I just destroyed the whole enemy team with my a-10 equivalent jet of whatever chinese. The enemy jets don't even fight back they let me gun them down, ac-130's can't even defend themselves and in one gun run you can just kill them, they don't even try to eject so free triple kills in the sky. Helis can't even fight back either. fucking rape the skies while you can guys

Seems to be a common issue. The weird part is that not all sounds disappear; more often than not ambient noise and footsteps will disappear for me, but vehicle sounds keep going. Game was crashing a lot last night too, which was frustrating as hell.
Hope we get a good patch here soon.
