Battlepacks are completely random. Only weapon specific battlepacks give you specific unlocks.

Damn the single player is intense as fuck. I just beat the first mission and man it felt great, really knows how to make you feel like a badass. It also has fantastic sound design.

I haven't actually finished it yet (left off halfway throu lv 6) but I think the single player feels super gimpy for people like me who are really cautious and snipey. Gave me the MK11 MOD 0 super early and from there on out the only battle has been against suppression

I took SCAR-H, an AUG and grenade launchers whenever I could to wreck everything on my way, except on some long-range occasions where I tried to snipe.

I have never gotten a kill with the main gun, it seems only direct hits with that even deal damage. I hit 1 foot from a tank, no damage dealt. And the smaller mini gun type also seems not that powerful. I have never used the middle gun, that seems like the only one that has ever killed me or seems to actually be useful.

it looked the same except it was cooler, like how master chief's armor updated between halo games
all you really missed was the two announcers drawing a card and saying "and for the next 30 seconds you'll all be fighting with KNIIIIIIVES!" and the other people on mics were flabbergasted and it was like 2 degrees away from balloons and confetti dropping from the ceiling and a random player getting slimed nickelodeon style
So my physical copy of BF4 just arrived and I'm trying to install it from the discs but it keeps making me download the game. Anyway to get around this? I don't feel like waiting 28 hours for it to download.
okay so seriously, this game has probably the worst singleplayer ever. i give up on even beating it. not that i'd be missing anything; the story is laughable at best
the game is riddled with so many bugs that it's almost unplayable for me. i've glitched through the map so many times now it's not even funny. and the worst part is that it keeps checkpointing me IN the glitches so I'm forever stuck in them unless I retry the whole level
the game is unoptimized so multiplayer is a joke too. i don't understand how this ever got past testing. it can't be just me. i mean multiplayer is amazing when it doesn't lag you out or the game bottlenecks itself to the point where you run the game at the pace of a slide show but wow, it's kind of inexcusable since these problems seem to be really obvious. if i've encountered all of these issues i'm sure some others have been noticing them too.

But my favorite armor was the first game's. 2/3's wasn't bad, but I thought the bulkier and more angular design from the first game was way cooler.

There needs to be a way to blacklist servers... It's quiet annoying when server admins decide to restart the server half way through or nearly finished in game and then progress getting lost sometimes from it. Most of the time it will save, but sometimes it doesn't.
I give the servers a couple chances and a few of them did the same mid way through again, which isn't crashing, but restarting due to connection problems and not giving any warnings.
How do i aim the LAW properly? Every time i try shooting a vehicle the rocket just shoots up vertically when it gets close but i get annihilated by them every time i'm in a vehicle, is it a perk or something>

That's what it's supposed to do. And it only does 20 damage per hit.
