I hope the game gets all fixed up by the time my paycheck rolls out.
The 'Test Range' shoul allow you to use every unlock to test them, not just the ones you have. Plus it would be nice to check out the maps by yourself without having to find an empty server.

During firefights, most of the map gets wrecked up - buildings especially, so you can't really check out how it looked like before, how big of the destruction players have caused.

BF3 as it is right now, is a finished article, it works for everyone, it don't crash and it's still fun.
BF4 will be worth playing, it's not yet.
They should implement so you can do SOMETHING while the game is fucking loading. OR at least make it so the fucking map loads while the scoreboard is showing for 45 seconds.....

All I can say is - there were connection problems yesterday, but they are gone(for me), thanks to DICE rolling in new servers; and aside from that, I don't have any problems(yet) perfomance wise - game runs smoother than Beta.
For [I]some [/I]people it may be unplayable right now, but for me it's fine, that's why it is worth playing if it works. Depends..

It's quiet useful for the teams.
For exmaple: UAV support is very helpful along with the UAV EMP, which blocks the enemy team's UAV from spotting in a certain area. Also, when you capture a special point on the map, the commander will get a special commander perk, like: AC-130 gunship or the Cruise Missile which devastates!
It sucks though when a team is left alone without a commander while the other has one.
In Natural Selection 2 there must be a commander on each side or else it doesn't work.

Sadly the commander on here doesn't have any decisions for placement of buildings or anything similar to that except for squad commanding, which most of time is denied by the leaders anyways.
They even removed physical artillery ([I]howitzers[/I] were replaced with player driven Arty trucks), UAV buildings and etc.
Still glad they brought back most the commander perks anyways!

Today, I've been playing for about six hours now, the game has crashed, frozen or server crashed almost every single time. I've only actually completed gamemodes which are small-scale, tops 10 minutes of game without interruption. Seriously what the fuck where they thinking?

So just as a frame of reference because I usually don't try to do this, but will a M203 grenade kill a pilot of a little bird if it hits the front, or lower front of the cockpit?
Because I just did that and I didnt even get point for hitting the fucking thing, and probably did nothing to the pilot. Oh and my game crashed on top of that.

What the fuck. I'm on mission 6, but whenever i try to load it up or load up mission overview it wants me to start on Baku (aka the first mission) and says i haven't finished any others. While still saying i'm up to level 6 on my battlelog.
Is there any way to fix this? Because i'm not wasting my time going through the same shitty 5 missions, the SP is ass in this game
I've made the choice of forgetting the SP entirely, and I haven't even finished downloading it yet. Wish I could skip it..

Hitting helicopters with anything except vehicles / other heli weapons is pointless. The lag compensation and netcode problems mean infantry basically can't do any damage to the heli itself outside of AA missiles.
I've hit, and been hit by, the starter rocket launcher (the one which loops randomly and locks on to shit which is moronic) and it does no damage. Literally none. Unless they're floating perfectly still, your grenade / rockets usually just "phase" through them because of the netcode issues.
