Has anyone used the Ace 23 yet? I'm 20 ribbons away from unlocking it, and statistically it's better in every single way compared to the m416 once you have the right attachments. Anyone confirm?
So is BF4 worth getting for the PC right now? Keep hearing lots of bad things from people on my steam friends about all the major bugs. Also are the veteran rewards what I think they are, IE owning past BF games?
i'm having a much better time playing on the smaller servers and now that i unlocked my favourite gun from bf3, the pecheneg

Absolutely not. Wait [B]at least[/B] another month before even considering it, in its current states it's not even worth half the price.
Constant crashes, both client side (extremely common btw i've experienced 100+ of my own at this point) and server crashes (which removes any progress you made)
Bugs, bugs and more bugs. Be it from having to completely restart your game after being revived, not being able to spawn in on certain points although you should be able to, reloading and losing any remaining ammo in normal mode (that should be HC only), shooting a certain gun with a certain attachment equipped which turns off [B]all[/B] sound for [b]all[/b] players on the server, terrible latency, rubberbanding, and netcode issues, etc. i could go on for days.
Save your money for now and wait until they fix these problems, until then either play BF3 or do something better

I get this really weird issue when I play a couple of rounds in BF4 non-stop.
Eventually the game starts to chug into a slideshow, eventually freezing visuals completely. I Alt-F4 the game, and I find that, according to Task Manager, 96% of my 16GB of RAM is being used by something unseen.
Only a computer restart fixes it. It's been happening ever since I started playing the game.
Anyone else experience this? It's a really really weird issue.

I'm not completely sure, but if I remember correctly. Sounds like an issue that happened way back in BFBC2, that even if you closed the game, unless you did it through the task manager, it would continue to process, hopefully this isn't that same issue, that and they eventually fixed it. Who knows, but looks like I'll hold off on BF4, I guess Killzone will have to hold me over until the kinks get worked out.

It's average. I'd recommend the AEK, up close it's a death machine and it's still great at long range if you can control the recoil.

I had a "You've Been Promoted" notice stuck on looping until I died.
Famas has decent reload now btw, and the burst in 1000rpm barely has any recoil.
I'm trying to make the GDI emblem like I had in blops 2 but im having a hard time. Theres nothing I can really use as right triangles and thats really giving me problems on the tail feathers part. Here's what I have so far compared to what it was in blops 2:

I literally [b]cannot[/b] make it through a match that is more than 500 tickets without it crashing. This is absolutely pathetic.
My crash rate has also increased by a lot over the last two days.
Before I was able to play an entire evening and crash maybe once or twice. Now I crash nearly every game. It's not just me either, it's everyone I play with as well. It's become frustrating to the point where the people I play with just ragequit and refuse to play anymore.

The game has been out for a week at this point, and there hasn't even been a hotfix, or anything of the sort to let us know they at least have any fucking idea what is causing the client crashes and that they are fixing them. The most amount of matches i have made it through in the last 2-3 days have been maybe one and a half matches of 400 ticket domination.
I tried playing two games earlier today and crashed once and server crashed once. :/
