I meant more in regards to how people can end up thinking he is too much of a bullet sponge because of the damage resistance during healing, and the general unloading of weapons into him you see during that period.

He is, but it's a lot different than the sort of bullet sponge he seems to be when supports use up a good chunk of their AA12 ammo during that period, and subsequently running out during the other times. Had a few players complain about that from the games I was in.
I still think letting him grab you as soon as possible to hurry up and get past his healing phases is the way to go. You seriously need a zerker to circle strafe him to death while your teammates lay waste to him. Keep him doing melee attacks as much as possible to limit his grenade spam thus keeping your team from scattering. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing supports and zerkers run miles away after he throws some nades and let the one teammate that hanz focuses die while putting no damage on him. Abuse him like any AI in any game, he can only focus ONE person, make him pay for it don't just run away and leave your teammate to die.

I do that with map spawned weapons for a little extra dosh. Also heal weapons are op. Especially the heal pistol.
Hans is quite beatable as long as you keep your distance, fight in more open areas, and your team heals each other.

The SMG sucks ass, and its worth it to save a little bit to go for the shotgun or a direct upgrade to the AR.
Oh and the whole hans parrying thing is real useful for any class that can't out run him.

imo the shotgun is really irritating, takes too long to reload and trying to interrupt reload animation with firing seems hit-and-miss for me. Shotgun just makes me feel hyper-vulnerable. Also I think the game is a bit unoptimized, maybe it's a driver thing. I can max BF4 comfortably but I have to turn down the settings in KF2 to about medium. Death animations are so satisfying, the ragdoll physics and animations on all the zeds are totally mesmerizing, can't believe what a fun game this is.

bezerker is so op it's great
commando players are like your typical 13 year olds, medics and support are people that take the game super seriously and then the zerkers are just MLG pros that just kill steal left and right. i just love charging in to a hoard head on because people end up just shooting me instead of the zeds, and if they do hit the zeds they only do enough damage to hurt them so i end up kill stealing anyway
leveled up pretty much twice in one map on normal because nobody could kill anything. i just cleared two waves single handedly with the hammer and nail gun

Slow reload, lower mag cap than pumpie along with too similar damage for it to be worth $1100.
I'd honestly prefer if they went with a mag-fed shotgun to replace it, something like a Hawk-12G or maybe even a semi-auto Saiga.
What is the DLC that was added to KF1? It just says "Accessed Content" and there's no information.
a lawgiver where the alternate fire switches ammo types would be a pretty sick weapon for gunslinger.

it's supposed to be the middle ground between the 12g and the aa-12.
just like how the ak is the middle ground for the bullpup and scar.

I dunno what you're talking about man, so far I've found the medic shotgun to be more than useless. You get a sub-par shotgun for about a minute before you run out of ammo and get stuck with the pistol again.
At least with the SMG it lasts the whole round. It might not hit as hard as the shotgun but it's more worth your money in the long run.
