I've found the best set up to take him out is to make sure you have a berserker with a pulverizer, a support specialist with an AA12, and a good medic. The problem with the new boss is that randoms fucking suck. I've brought Hans down to red phase as a berserker solo in a 6 player match and we wiped because idiots will fucking stand on his bombs.

I spent almost all day yesterday playing KF2.
GOD DAMN I WAS SO GOD DAMN HAPPY. GIGGLING LIKE A CHILD A SMILING BROADLY.

I yelled for Medic at least 10 times and yes we did have one. He only healed me once the round was already over.
Also retards not understanding simple instructions like "DON'T SHOOT THE BOSS WHILE HES GRABBING SOMEONE, JUST HEAL"
I said it 3 times and people still didn't fucking listen.

I usually just throw the healing grenade during those moments and run away.
Speaking of the boss, can you parry his melee attacks?
Anyone else here leave out 'dead drop' AA/Scars on the ground before Hans' wave? I find useful that I could just drop my current, empty AA and just pick up the other nearby dead-dropped AA with full ammo, saving ammo drops along with dealing more damage to Hans without worrying too much about ammo.

Pretty sure you can.
First time ever, I had a team of people who dealt so much damage to the boss that he didn't get a chance to throw his HE nades or use his twinfangs, one right after another he did all 3 of his heals on the same area, then he died in the same area. Fight lasted probably about 1 min long.
Hans isn't so bad, just need a team that isn't retarded.
I hope they never change the Clot's animations. I like how they look like they're trying to krump as they walk towards people. :v:

To be fair, sometimes you just can't get your healing darts over to a player. They home in, yeah, but they don't curve around corners and they don't go through other people. There's been plenty of times I'm frantically using every dart I have in the medic AR/shotgun to heal someone and they're just not hitting because everyone's moving too much. In that case I try and use a grenade, but even then sometimes people just move too much and won't get healed. That's why you need to be aware of where your medic is and keep clear sight lines if you can.

I've had this happen too-- a group that's heavier on Supports and Berserkers than the other two perks can turn him to paste before you know what's going on.

You just need a team period. He's excruciating/kiting insanity solo to two or three people, but when you have three good players or 4/5/6 - he's actually not that bad because the healing potential goes through the roof and you're less likely to be targeted for long periods of time.
Remember demolitions etc will be coming soon for the boss waves, so everything we're saying now could be redundant in a few months.

Popped open Biotics Lab in the SDK to see how they handled a lot of the new features in KF2.
Promptly closed it. Holy shit, way to nearly destroy 100% of my mapping mood. There is easily ten times as much shit going on, and you can also [B][I]really[/I][/B] appreciate how detailed the maps are, as well as their layout.
I mean it's not that I can't use the editor, but I feel like my map will turn out like this:

The Matchmaking menu broke for me. When I hit "Enter Matchmaking" or whatever it is (when you choose your game settings and are ready to play) it does nothing. It was working last night, not sure whats up.
At the moment the game would be easier if you had more ammo. We don't have the Sharpshooter yet so the only real weapon capable of dealing with FP/SC is the AA12 however the ammo is super scarce.
I feel Hard is what is meant to be played, Normal is too easy.
