Medic is my absolute best perk and it's WAY better than KF1's medic. I consider myself average and I can keep myself and 5 other people alive on the last waves of Suicidal pretty easily. I always run the shotgun (you guys here hatin' on the shotgun, I'll have you know it's the best medic weapon) and the assault rifle and it works wonders. Between the pistol, shotgun and AR you have basically infinite heal darts and if you save grenades for the right moments you can save your whole team. Medics are incredibly strong in everything except for pure damage.
Man, just won a raffle for the Dosh foster skin, just when I had given up hope of ever getting it. So happy.
Whare was it raffled? I'm thinking about raffling my spare PCG code away somewhere.
Whare was it raffled? I'm thinking about raffling my spare PCG code away somewhere.
They were giving some away on Twitch.
Whare was it raffled? I'm thinking about raffling my spare PCG code away somewhere.
Have they said there isn't going to be a way to get that once the game is released? It's disappointing if that's true, i thought it would just be some sort of timed exclusive that would be available at some point.
All the smoke effects in my game went funky [t]http://i.imgur.com/DJyMvTS.jpg[/t] what is this?
Can someone help me with hosting a server? I'm trying to access the web server on my own server but no matter what password I put on, it always says "invalid credentials" or "invalid form data" for whatever the reason I do not know Seriously pissing me off, I even copied the exact same settings from my friend who got it running but it's different for me. lol nevermind I had to edit the exe. file since that also has a default admin password
There's a lot I have to learn about the SDK before I can even start making a map. It's pretty different from UT2/KF1's and the official maps have so much going on that it's seriously overwhelming. [t]http://i.cubeupload.com/ylgNRQ.png[/t]
a lot of that is trigger volumes and other stuff that Unreal does, turn them off and you're left with quite a straight up setup. If you set up the art the level will follow, or the other way around, whatever works. Other than the assets, which are all model based now, no BSP (becus thatz bad)

Oh yeah, to those who aren't getting a lot of XP: I dunno if they changed it or something but the amount I've been getting on Normal for my zerker is pathetic, I would recommend those who are at least somewhat competent that they hop into Hard right away, since you'll actually see the bar go up decently per wave. Those who are completely new I would recommend stick to Normal for a few rounds to get their feet wet then when comfortable bump it up to Hard.
So after Early Access will our stats reset or not?
So after Early Access will our stats reset or not?
If you mean during the last process where the game hops from Early Access to full game no idea, but during early access we will be getting resets here and there.
You can still use the CSG if you so desire.
don't desire though meshes are better
I know it's probably a dumb question, but how do I change the iron sights sensitivity in KF2? I can only find one sensitivity slider in the options menu and that one seems to control the overall sensitivity. The scoped in sensitivity is way too slow by default, it's so damn bad that I had to completely avoid using the iron sights if I wanted to hit anything.
If you mean during the last process where the game hops from Early Access to full game no idea, but during early access we will be getting resets here and there.
I meant after it goes to full game. If we're getting resets occasionally during the EA than I guess that answered my question anyway.
Anyone else just got their Killing Floor gift pack from the Deluxe Edition?
Anyone else just got their Killing Floor gift pack from the Deluxe Edition?
-snip- Just as i typed that, I got my gift pack
Anyone else just got their Killing Floor gift pack from the Deluxe Edition?
On the tripwire forums, they said they fixed where people weren't getting a giftable copy of KF1 from buying the deluxe version.
If we were able to import music into this game I'd put so many Celldweller songs in it.
I'd just bring in a bunch of really bad j-pop and anime music. The new skyrim
Been playing this all evening, oh god it's so good. Biotics Lab is the most metal level ever.
there's some freaky shit going on outside the windows on biotics lab
Does the boss heal to 100% every time he grabs someone to heal? I've only been able to kill him once on hard. We'll pump all our ammo into him after he heals 3 times but he just won't go down.
I really feel that skrakes need to be nerfed somewhat on Hard difficulty. Either they spawn too many of them after the 5th wave, or they have too much HP, I don't know, but it's seriously making 10 waves almost impossible even with a good team on Hard mode. I haven't tried normal mode yet, but I haven't even got to the final boss on hardmode yet. In fact I think the Skrakes are even more dangerous than the fleshpounds now. Mainly because their rage mode hits everything in site, in KF1 you could kind of dodge his attacks by running backwards.
Anyone else just got their Killing Floor gift pack from the Deluxe Edition?
No idea what to do with it now. Can't even give it away for obvious reasons.

Ammo is the biggest concern you'll have as long as you and your team are careful and avoid his attacks. Let the high damage perks grab all the ammo. Once you nail the strategy and your team can work together, Hans is a cake walk. And the number 1 thing I see that wipes a team out instantly is when he stands still for a moment and everyone crowds around him to pump him with lead, and then he drops gas at his feet and everyone panics. Don't get close to him no matter how tempting

Makes me wonder if we kept getting a bug or something because it shouldn't take that long.
does anyone here not own killing floor 1 and is interested in it? i have a free copy.
Uhhh, why can't you play it?
Wait, the max bonus to Zerks is 25% at max!?
yes.
