You can one shot everything at level 0. Just play support, babby broken mode and take the AA-12. If you know how to aim (actually scratch that) nobody will match your final score. While a maxed perk gives you some clear advantages, it doesn't transform you into an unstoppable machine of death. Especially in higher difficulties. Of course, you can't have such an opinion if you only play on normal. But keep in mind that mode needs to be heavily tweaked, as in the current state it's not "normal" but flat out "easy". I don't cheat though, i could and anyone could since it's so damn fucking easy, but doing so would totally suck the interest ouf of KF2. We don't have many perks, maps, or weapons to begin with, killing the progression would kill the only incentive i have to play KF2 right now. Plus, it's a COOP game. You don't compete against people. You try to be as efficient as possible to survive 7 or 10 waves and kill the final boss, that's it. If you're one of these people playing medic, constantly running around trying to get the biggest amount of kills without healing that dude getting obliterated by a fleshpound in a corner, you're a bigger problem than some random kid lvl 25 thanks to cheat engine. edit : All these fucking tears.
Being bad at the game and cheating are not the same thing You can improve, while if you cheat, you just suck. Why are you defending cheaters even?
There's clearly gonna be a huge difference between a lvl 2 and a lvl 20 or whatever, you get money depending on how much damage to do to certain zeds, when I see a scrake walk up I think woah friggin moneh! Lets say a lvl 20 support walks up to it and kills it right there before I can get my share of the money on him, which pretty much leads to me low on dosh to get gear and well I'm not doing very much shooting which will be boring as shit. Plus it's fun sometimes when the zeds breaks your lines and pretty much overruns the whole crew having everyone scatter. And lets not forget that if there's a dude carrying the whole team just wiping everything and everyone comes out unscathed, I bet the medic would wonder to himself why does he even exist.
Being bad at the game and cheating are not the same thing You can improve, while if you cheat, you just suck. Why are you defending cheaters even?
I don't defend shit. I just don't give a fuck about a cheater in a COOP game as he doesn't represent a threat for me or anyone else. Would i play with him ? Probably not, depending on the mode of difficulty and my actual perk level. Would i flip my shit on a internet forum about it ? No.
You can improve, while if you cheat, you just suck.
That doesn't mean absolutely anything and you know it. I knew some excellent players in KF1 that used SAM in order to max out their perk, because they couldn't be arsed to get through the awful perk grinding KF1 had. Who fucking cares. Jesus everloving christ.
Who fucking cares. Jesus everloving christ.
Evidently everyone else you twit.

It makes the game less fun because you see other people have things they didn't earn

At all. And for someone who doesn't defend shit, you sure are aggressive and defending this behavior really much.
and now the progression was changed so you don't need to grind to level up? i care because it removes a ton of fun from the game if one or two players just completely demolish the waves when everyone else is just kind of lagging behind trying to get any kills they can.
Which is a non-existent issue since nobody with a maxed out perk will run around in normal / hard difficulties.
Dang, getting absolutely awful fps on a GTX 970. Video settings don't seem to matter. Game is fun, though. I find I'm much worse at this than I am at KF1, though.
Which is a non-existent issue since nobody with a maxed out perk will run around in normal / hard difficulties.
there's no way to guarantee that. unfortunately, plenty of people who are cheating will just jump into normal or hard to rack up kills for fun / ruin other people's good time.
there's no way to guarantee that. unfortunately, plenty of people who are cheating will just jump into normal or hard to rack up kills for fun / ruin other people's good time.
I still fail to see a single one and i'm racking a decent amount of time on KF2 between the beta and the start of the ea. You have to be a seriously dedicated griefer to do that, anyway. The difficulty is the core of Killing Floor, without it the game falls flat extremely quickly.
Which is a non-existent issue since nobody with a maxed out perk will run around in normal / hard difficulties.
I'm Level 6 on every perk in the first KF and really only play on hard mode, rarely even Normal Not everyone wants everything to be balls to the walls hard, some people are playing games for fun Remember when that was something you did?
I just don't give a fuck
Clearly you do because you haven't shut up about it yet.
If difficulty is the core of Killing Floor then why would you use cheat engine to get your perks the easy way instead of working for them by playing through hards and hell on earths? Would it not be technically easier if you have a maxed out perk while on the other hand it would be harder if you didn't have the maxed out perk? Besides, it isn't like maxing out a perk gives you extra weapons or something, I don't see why you'd need to cheat your way up when you could just be chilling with some friends working up together with them. In the case you don't have friends you could always solo and then turn on the TV and act like the people on the news channel are chatting with you.
i absolutely love the progression in this game tbh. working up the support specialist ranks and seeing my penetration get better and better to the point where i can tear through multiple zeds in a single shot when i used to only be able to kill one is awesome.

But the fun of Killing Floor comes from the challenge of surviving through huge ass waves of zeds. The whole game is based on that. I don't necessarily talk about ultra difficult shit, but if it's too easy, the game becomes mind numbing and boring extremely quickly.
Clearly you do because you haven't shut up about it yet.
Fucking excuse me to debate and answer shit on a internet forum.
If difficulty is the core of Killing Floor then why would you use cheat engine to get your perks the easy way instead of working for them by playing through hards and hell on earths?
Firstly, i don't cheat for that exact reason. Secondly, you can't "work them out" in suicidal or hell on earth, and you're free to try it out. These modes are designed with high level perks players in mind.
do you have an integrated gpu on your cpu? kf2 defaults to it if you do.
Nope, no integrated gpu on my cpu. Probably some weird issue on my end.

I don't care if someone is cheating skill levels in or something like that but when it comes to say godmode, infinite money or infinite ammo then that's a problem Everything can be solved with a simple kick though

Therefore my experience wasn't harmed.
I don't care if someone is cheating skill levels in or something like that but when it comes to say godmode, infinite money or infinite ammo then that's a problem
My point, exactly. If the cheater doesn't harm your experience in any way imaginable, getting mad about it is fucking stupid as shit.
anyone beat hard+ on 10 waves with a 6 man?
Any tips to get better with the Boomstick? Even if i use it against stronger enemies like Scrake\FP, it seems that it doesn't do much. Sort of want to use all shotguns effectively
Boomsticks meant for gibbn not for killin
now that's just silly by no means am i a good kf player, in fact i downright suck, but i still enjoy the challenge.
Adressed this point later in my posts.
Geez, the UI has been improved massively.

Anyone have a server up and running?
