Found an awesome series of spots in Burning Paris which lets you avoid attacks from both Scrakes and Fleshpounds. If you crouch on the concrete pillars near the outdoor cafe, neither of them can do damage. Make sure you are on/in the pillar, not near them. It also seems to work on crawlers and gorefasts, but isn't 100% consistent. Any idea why this happens?
Honestly I was surprised by the lack of a "thanks" vocal option. I mean really, sometimes I wanna thank people for actually healing me, or working together as a team cohesively. I don't think that's asking too much.
Given how shitty the radial voice menu is now, I would probably find it easier to just type in "ty" in the middle of a heated battle, even if there was a "Thanks" voice option. Although, we wouldn't be able hear those nice voice sounds.
A little late on this but the thing about zeds teleporting on top of rails has something to do with the unreal engine. That engine has a pretty big "step threshold", which unless you change the default you can use relatively tall objects as stairs or clip on top of railings by walking down certain sets of stairs. Zeds with the ability to jump will do so if behind an obstacle/railing which makes them reach that threshold more easily (they'll clip to it mid-jump), also you can sometimes cheese fleshpounds while they eyeball you by standing on stuff like cars, tall furniture and sometimes even railings since they don't seem to be able to jump (and also since a lot of the time they just can't stand still). I could still be wrong about this, but I don't see it as a bug or see the lack of climbing animation like a missing feature. [sp]And whoever the fuck mentioned skully sounding like shrek, I hate you. Because of that I have smashmouth playing in my head every times I play KF2.[/sp]
I played a 32 player server earlier. That was so nuts with all the healing. Somehow I managed to play berserker decently and stun alot of scrakes. We all got fucked in wave 10 though but I imagine Hans being nearly impossible.
I hope they add one of the original characters but with the KF1 voice files. I know Mr. Foster's voice is like 90% similar but he has tons of new lines.
surely there will be a mod soon enough
Nvm, gave it away
Does the support skill bombard, which gives your weapons a 15% chance to stumble, work on scrakes, fleshpounds, and Hans? If it only works on smaller zeds then there's no point since you pretty much kill them in one shot anyway.
I wonder what kind of grenades they'll have. Maybe flashbangs that disorient enemies for about 10 seconds? Imagine throwing one into a big group of zeds, then they start flailing around all over the place and attacking eachother. That would be pretty sweet.
3 or 4 Scrakes spinning against each other. Now this is something that i want to see
Sometimes this game generates really interesting screenshots: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/540772837760539257/876C339750A48E52410D2D5DE6D47160644F1720/[/t]
I think I have a crazy idea for modding.
Money fiiiight!
It cracks me up every time when you hear the intro-roar of Scrake/FP half in Zed-time, half in normal speed. :v:

eyeballs flying across your screen is something i didn't even know i missed having in videogames last time i saw them was duke 3d and RoTT
Is there any playable Character returning from KF1? Besides Skully and Foster.
Have they really confirmed that progression will be reset for the full release ? Wouldn't they only do that if there was any exploit or major change to leveling ?
Is there any playable Character returning from KF1? Besides Skully and Foster.
Everyone except for Ana, Donovan, and Hayako (but is "Hayato Tanaka" in KF1? Probably a Rising Storm promo character)?
Is there any playable Character returning from KF1?
The mag release is even animated...
having just learnt using animnotify systems in ue3 at uni, it feels good seeing them being used in something that came out this year I am relevant
having just learnt using animnotify systems in ue3 at uni, it feels good seeing them being used in something that came out this year I am relevant
Why are you still on UE3?
Why are you still on UE3?
because my course is stupid edit: parrying hans and watching him stagger away like the skinny cunt he is is so satisfying
Tripwire is giving a new meaning to Gun Porn with these animations.
carried 2 level 0 commandos for 8 waves, couldn't heal them fast enough at hans kicked his ass after the two bailed oh well, more XP for me!
Tripwire really has thought of everything when they did their gun animations Hell they are pretty much the only game developers that actually make faster reloads different reloads rather than just speeding them up! That's something more should do
Why are you still on UE3?
ue4 still cost money when i started my year. that said, i'm not on a dedicated game course so like, we have to fund our own software if it's not maya or something

That skill would only be useful to a level 0 support when you can't 1 shot every smaller zed.

It also seems like there's quite a few people that know their way around Unreal on here, anyone fancy a map-collab? A hotel perhaps?
Tripwire is putting so much effort into the guns yet the characters still call magazines and shotgun shells clips :v:
