Was Hans nerfed recently or something? I soloed him as a lv 0 medic, first try and stuff, and barely any of his attacks did any real damage.
Felt very different in the beta..

solo was always easy because his health scales to player count.

Felt very different in the beta..[/QUOTE]Remember that he scales. The very first match I played when I started playing was a Solo game and I beat him then. But with a full six people he is far harder to kill.
I just did a match with a random, both of us berserkers, and we kicked his ass. We ended up keeping him in his last healing chase for over five minutes by just constantly running laps around an obstacle, switching out with each other every so often. When we got tired of that we let him finish his heal, then we beat the fuck out of him. I love getting the kill on him with the Pulverizer.

I know he also scales, but it still felt just a bit harder in the beta.
I probably just got used to his attack patterns and stuff though. Still found it a bit silly that I could beat him pretty easily as a level 0.
what does the difficulty do? more zeds or higher health/damage from zeds?

If you can read, it says "21 April 2015" literally at the top. That's exactly the day KF2 early access released, and before the paid mods on Steam thing was announced, meaning the EULA wasn't changed in response to that. difficulty and player count contributes to the following:
health - both
damage - difficulty
number of zeds in a wave - both
exp - difficulty
rage - difficulty

After spending far too many hours on the subject, I am officially throwing in the towel in regards to client-side non-music sound replacements. Everything is hinged on the audio banks, but even after learning enough of Wwise to generate nearly identical sound banks, the game doesn't accept them as replacements. I can only assume there are unseen and uncontrollable variables at play that are causing unresolvable disparities at an internal level. Short of someone creating something like the [url=https://sites.google.com/site/skinspotlights/wpkpacker]WPKPacker[/url] for KF2, I don't see client-side sounds happening. This has dashed my hopes of creating any KF1 voice packs for KF2.
Other client-side replacements are still feasible, but I guess this release will have to go without the custom sounds I had imagined:

Sometimes I forget I'm not playing solo after the rest of the team dies, and they get really mad when I leave the last clot alive and run around the map grabbing weapons and ammo.

I was crashing constantly on startup until I added the -dx10 launch option (I have a radeon 4870 which doesn't support DX11). I guess the game doesn't even check what graphics card you have and just tries forcing DX11 unless you tell it not to. So that's one thing you could try.
Since Hans is a motherfucker that can't be interrupted during healing I see little point in using big guns on him until he healed 3 times. I just dump pump shotgun on him until he can't heal anymore and dump AA-12 afterwards.
I'm slowly starting to see what TWI wanted to do with new boss, but he is still somewhat disbalanced.
What page was that post with the video of the shotgun reload, where it shot into the air? I want to show a friend.

How much damage does a grenade without Support buff? Is it good enough dumping all 5 against Hans?
