I dislike how callout only works when you actually can see the stalkers as well. I thought it would just give my team the ability to see them. That might not be all that fair though, but night-vision is a worthless perk anyway.
Does anyone know of any helpfull guides for squeezing extra frames for us on the lower end?
Now you gave me an idea, does anyone know if a support still gets the damage and penetration bonus when using the medic shotgun?
Unfortunately, it doesn't, checked it myself.
I asked this before, but I worded it wrong, I believe.
Does the medic shotgun (and in lesser effect assault rifle) get the bonuses from Support (and Commando?)
Not XP. Just the stuff like %Damage and %Penetration.

Nope.
You must love the Hunting Shotgun more:

We never really get to appreciate the damage models in this game. Like in that video the scrake lost all of his skin + lower jaw before his head exploded.

Isn't the MEAT system toned down for EA?

What's his skills? Shouldn't scrake enrage at 90% hp on HoE?
Because it seems like he stumble him with each shot.
Isn't the MEAT system toned down for EA?
Yeah the gore system we have atm isn't the final version of it.
Dev diary has organs and bits being chucked around in the floor and I haven't seen any of that yet.

i think its the support perk

He means which perk skills are selected.

Seems to me he has tactical reload, not stumble.

So far I can tell, he has the 20% extra ammo, 150 hp, 50% faster reload and in the description he has said that this is also possible without the tenacity skill (10% damage bonus).
The scrake can't be stumbled with anything else other than the Eviserator/Pulverizer, as followed from the KF2 stats: Hunting Shotgun has 100 stumble power, and it requires 125 to actually stumble a scrake. If you rotate around a scrake like that it won't really do anything, even while raged. Just did a match where I was trying that strategy out and it works pretty well if the rest of the team isn't unloading on him.
The 100 stumble power is probably for the single shot, bruh.

Sames goes for Hans, just circle-strafe him and the whole team can just wail on him. But I have a feeling that this will soon be patched and pull a new attack moveset that counters this.
The 100 stumble power is probably for the single shot, bruh.
The stumble mechanics probably doesn't count both barrels, otherwise we would all be able to stumble Scrakes AND Fleshpounds off-perk.
Goddamnit, I swear almost every time I die it's because someone thinks it's a great idea to unload everything they've got on a scrake the moment they see him. I'm only playing on hard and my team wipes before reaching Hans in 90% of the games just because nobody has any idea on how to deal with scrakes. Should I move up to suicidal or something? I'm guessing people won't be as clueless on harder difficulties.

This is where the terminology gets stupid. They call them perks for some unknowable reason, but it's clearly a collection of perks and skills and bonuses strung together. So it's more like a skill tree or a class? So then you got people asking "What perks do you have under your perks?" Shit is confusing.
The skill trees are kinda terrible. Each 5 levels gives you two choices, and it typically goes that one is adequately useful 100% of the time, and one is slightly useful but only sometimes.

A friend mentioned that it seemed like the developers had in mind you'd either be playing with pubs, or friends. So the skills are geared towards low-coordination/selfishness or high-coordination. Though, totally in practice.
Most of the time one is just objectively 100% better than the other in almost every way outside rare circumstance.
Okay what? I've been trying to use the SDK for over 3 hours now and after figuring out how to get everything working besides the spawning. (They simply refuse to spawn) I now realize that my map is nowhere to be found? It's not anywhere in my directory yet I can go to Recent>My map name in the SDK and it loads. I'm very confused. Also how do I get rid of that weird sound effect all the custom maps have where it sounds like I'm in space?
So does anyone have an answer? How do I setup sounds properly in custom maps?
I have more faith in this game to succeed than I feel is healthy.

I'd be amazed if this game wasn't a success, it's everything I wanted out of the original and much faster

Not only that, but this seems to be the best implementation of an early access development strategy possible
you have the already existing veterans of the last game ready to give opinions on how the gameplay should be as well as waves of new players that you can balance that with
Imagine if you had to do 10 perks x 4 weapons a perk = 40 weapons + new zeds and their mechanics + a bunch of maps with only your in-house QA or whatever to test before releasing the final build? It would likely be a shitshow
This seem to be the way to do early acess, we might not have gotten 10 perks if TW didn't use such a clever strategy

Yeah, I'm not really a fan of how it works out. I'd almost rather it just be a proper skill tree at this point than just a one or the other choice. A lot of the perks don't really feel useful at all considering you have to wait 5 whole levels to get to them each time.

Maybe its just me, but I think like a 1st level skill for each class would be good, for the basic/menial shit like night vision or for stuff like stalker vision. Then make the level 5 unlocks skills different.

The whole thing needs a pretty big (balance) overhaul, imo.
