Late, but there are no decals for blood (very minimal) It's basically a tiled texture overlaid across every mesh in the map (then hidden). The engine then decides when for it to blend into the blood texture, and when not to.

I like Briar, Masterson, and even Foster a little bit because they actually sound panicked at times and like they're actually fighting monstrosities that they'd rather not be seeing.
