"Upstairs to bedtime, children!" will always be my favourite KF1 quote tho.
I'm bleeding knackered
Whenever i play Donovan, he only says this before dying a sec later "I CAN DO THIS AAAAAAAAAALL DAY" as he's being pursued by a Scrake
One thing I noticed in those voice quotes is how the characters, at least Lt. Masterson, talks about and congratulates the player on receiving promotions, in addition he also notes when the player has reached max rank and when the player resets their ranks. There are several possible implications, such as a possible prestige system (which might explain why it does not take as long as KF1 to reach max rank for a perk) or at least some form of voice overs from other characters when you get promoted. Or its just left over. Edit: Amusingly it seems each character has a different opinion on Horizine, Lt Masterson for example seems to like Horizine while Reverend Alberts holds a certain disdain, or just plain dislike, of Horizine.
I'm bleeding knackered
GIT UP THEM APPLES
smeg head
my favorites are "two bloody great handfuls" and "you're all fur coat no knickers bitches"
My favorite KF1 quote is "You gormless tosser!" It just sounds so poetic to me.
My favorite KF1 quote is "You gormless tosser!" It just sounds so poetic to me.
I agree, I love that one. Also, this is a nice topic that allows me to understand these poetic expressions directed at fellow "teammates": http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?t=41130
"WANKERS!" "You plonker!" (I don't even know what a plonker is) "Don't move or I'll stick it where the sun don't shine" Some of the lines i'm missing
I hope TWI fixes the spawning system, and lessen the scrake spam above wave 5+. Right now scrakes are more dangerous than fleshpounds are. Also am I the only person who enjoys the M4 combat shotty? It feels so sexually satisfying to shoot
Yesterday I heard one of the "last man standing" lines for the first time. I think it was for Mr. Foster, and he says "Don't worry guys... I'll finish what we started." Anybody know what the equivilant lines for other characters are? Foster just jumped up on my favourite characters list because of that.
Is it true that parrying is broken Online?

But I just can't bear that small mag-size and the slow as hell reload even with tac reload. I'd rather use the med shottie over it.
I always liked the line "Bloody hell, its like Croydon on a Friday night!" because i used to catch the tram through Croydon a lot a few years back, and that line is hilariously accurate. Also I hope they bring back security officer Thorne as a player character. he was always one of my favourite characters and the whole "failed-experiment-half-man-half-zed" thing he had going on could be even more awesome now that each character has a unique set of voice lines.
Is it true that parrying is broken Online?
I've managed to land it couple times so shouldn't be. [editline]30th April 2015[/editline] Maybe harder? Haven't tried in solo.
pretty sure he was in one of the trailers
Temporary testing model, along with Wilkes the guy in the power suit They both aren't in the game anymore
Man that would be great actually, maybe having some of his lines involve him desperately trying to retain his sense of humanity while the zed half of him tries to take over.
Yeah that's what i was thinking, they could have a sort of dr jekyll and mr hyde thing going on where all of his combat lines are a mix of incoherent mechanically distorted roaring and psychotic relish, whereas his downtime lines are all about him re-gaining some measure of composure, getting his bearings and sarcastically apologising for scaring everyone.
Temporary testing model, along with Wilkes the guy in the power suit They both aren't in the game anymore
Damn. I suppose that would mean less work involved making them both into cosmetic DLC if there is enough demand for them, so im still holding out hope but still, damn.
Is it true that parrying is broken Online?
Parrying is server side, so it's latency based and not on what you see on your screen. Sometimes you will parry at the perfect time, however it won't be for the server and you will receive damage. It's not always ping dependant too, as I had a really awful experience of not being able to parry on a single server couple of times (resulting in my death), even though I had ~50 ping. However it works most of the time, but it is not as easy as it is in solo, due to issues I have written above.
vocal command conversations were the best in KF1 Can't you see I'm reloadin? No chance pal. You prat! Sorry. Who do you think you are, bleedin action man? Yes. Okay, okay.
http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showthread.php?p=1390392#post1390392 now put down your pitchforks about aim assist
Playing as Medic with my xbox360 controller isn't fun considering the aim assist but i do still misses anyway and consider how bullet travel works in this game, it's awful. And weapon switching, that too.
its hitscan outside of zed time
Have they updated the game with anything new since beta? I'm trying to decide to buy this already or not

Guv'nor to me means more superior, boss, captain. Or the champ paying the bills. Car boot's more when you're selling out the boot obviously. They were the only two that really bugged me I guess.
Have they updated the game with anything new since beta? I'm trying to decide to buy this already or not
no if you're on the fence then just buy it when its fully out

Unless he is correct, and it comes from the perennial incapability of the English to pronounce Scottish place names (The amount of people who pronounce "Loch" as "Lock")
(The amount of people who pronounce "Loch" as "Lock")
Sorry for saying "Lock" as opposed to "Lock-*drawn out gargling*"
Oh well, it was only a matter of they they disabled the XP on those servers. Someone knows if you can at least get the map achievements on them? Meanwhile, the video which I recorded on one of those servers finished processing. Is all in 60FPS 1080p. It covers all the game, from the start to the defeat of Hans, enjoy.
