It's a shame they think medic is played by babies who can't handle the big guns, so all the medic guns are super easy to use.
When I play medic I use hunting shotgun, crossbow and the zed guns.
Just because I heal my friends doesn't mean I don't like toting a bigass "sidearm".
Hopefully medic weapons will stay light so you can carry off-perk weapons.

Honestly, the way it looks in the menu, they are all separate weapons. You buy them individually from the store. Maybe there is a possibility that changing between medic weapons has a special animation, where instead of putting it away, you transform the gun. But you need to have the gun in your inventory to be able to equip it.

UT2004 had [b]six[/b] fucking CDs that you needed to install the game, and for this reason alone I bought it again on steam for extra convenience

Probably the boss that was teased in the PCG videos.
I don't think they have Patriarch ready for early access. Also the ones we fought in KF1 were clones, and I think after the last KF update, they had a whole story on how they were all clones of the original.
So they have to make the original better than the clones, and why just put a clone in when they can test a new boss out now.

I have a later DVD version that comes on one and Steam is still charging $15 for it. I like me some retro, but not when I'm being kicked in the teeth for an 11 year old game.
Not that I don't love ol' UT2k4, it's just I tend to think people grabbing on to old titles and keeping the prices jacked is low. The only legal means for me to get another copy of Doom II for my PC (had it on Mac) is to buy it through Steam for $5 or (back when) through ID Games for $20.
Someone here said that EA progress will carry over to full release spoke out of their ass
