Does the pumpy shotty have a manual action function like in Rising Storm? I want this so when the Sharpshooter returns with the LAR, you can shoot it and hold R to flipcock it. Oh and just wanting to have manual action in general.
I fucking hope they retcon it so that Hans Volter was the who built KF_Moonbase.
Motha-fucking space Nazis.
it's fucking anarchy trying to get a key
i'm just not even going to try, i got frustrated enough trying to get my hands on a titanfall key back when that was in beta
I have a twitter account for the sole reason of trying to get keys for games. Every one of my ~10-15 tweets is just tweeting to get keys in giveaways. Twitter isn't even reliable for that stuff as many of us have seen, the reply times are different for every single person
Played on all the maps as every class except Berserker, out of 5 games we beat Hans Volter once.
KF2's fucking great, commando feels so good to play, field medic still seems like a pain in the ass except for the healing grenade and for support I really miss the carry capacity increase.
I actually really enjoy Field Medic because of their varied weapons. The Medic shotgun and assault rifle are solid end-game weapons and the healing grenades are pretty useful in panic situations.
Still have to beat Hans though, the only time I've seen him defeated was when I joined the game right at the very end and he was beaten by a single dude.
Anymore keys being sent out?
I just beat Hans with only one person getting killed, and to make it better I got the last shots on him.
Anymore keys being sent out?
Doesn't seem like it, just let it calm down for a day or two and maybe you can get a key, that's what I'm waiting for.
Fuuuck, I didn't even know they gave out any keys...
Right just played like 6 more games, this game is amazing and the definitive killing floor experience we've all been waiting for. I think i'm level 8 now, the levelling is pretty nice, apparently you can get to level 25 in 20 hours if you play solely HoE
2 issues - when reloading the ammo counter doesn't update until the reload animation is finished, and the mouse sensitivity doesn't go low enough, at 0 it's still too much and I play with a big mousepad for the purpose of using my elbow and shoulder to introduce muscle memory (I think you can set sensitivity in the console as well as play solo, i'll figure it out tomorrow)
Otherwise this game is incredible especially for early access, I played mostly on Hard (defeated the boss twice) and once on Suicidal (got horribly murdered by grenades). The trick with the boss is to not shoot him when he throws out the white smoke and goes to grab people, as he's invincible (glowing gold) until he's finished the lifedrain, but also that you can parry his grab with a melee weapon.
I've only played support so far but it's great fun, the blood covering everything when you return to an area is a wondrous sight to behold. I drop under 60 when a lot of shit goes down though ever since I turned on SSR, I need to upgrade

What in the name of god
What in the name of god
I'm not that far out, but I too have a huge mousepad and use relatively low sensitivities with lots of traveling. It's nice if you have the space.
Shoot any questions at me if you want, I'm going to sleep but will answer tomorrow
What in the name of god
haha more accurate fine tuning at range and way easier to twitch shots, I play a few competitive games and am used to it. It's like really feeling out your aiming instinctively rather than guesswork, important if you want to hit really fast things in the head

i've used this for a long time, extremely useful driver/program especially if you like quake acceleration. ue3 is actually one of the main reasons i started using it, as ue3 games have horrible sensitivity settings 99% of the time. i had to use a memory editor to be able to get a low enough sensitivity in borderlands 2...

Hans is actually pretty easy to beat.
For no-brain option, you just need 2-3 supports with A12 and force him to go through 3 stages (sucking the life out of your buddies), then just rape him. Just finished hard game where as soon as he left 3rd sucking animation, 2 supports emptied their A12s into his back... they didn't have to spend their whole drums for that either...
For the fun way, you need to understand the new melee system.
Whenever you see him running towards you, you don't just jump away hoping for it to somehow change the target while you slowly die. Take out your knife and parry him as he tries to attack you, that way you flinch him back, take no damage and reset his aggro (he is no longer in rage/chase mode).
That's how I have solo'ed him couple of times when my teammates were dead.
The melee system also works against scrakes and fleshpounds.
Not only you can parry but also block attacks.
Blocking massively reduces the damage you take.
Right now you can have one dedicated person on SC/FP tanking role.
All of above is based on normal and hard difficulties.
Oh, by the way, support is so easy to level up now.
Just weld doors, 24/7... massive amount of experience.
You get like 80 xp per full door welding (8 xp per 10%).
Fleshpounds are fucking insane now.

Ah, I've forgot about one major feature that was implemented for medics.
I'm not sure if it was mentioned before, but healing darts are semi-homing.
You don't have to be mLgPrOsnipah to hit that dancing berserker anymore.
If you got your crosshair close enough to the person that requires a healing a small lock-on system will trigger and inform you with a sound that you can heal that person more reliably.
Works in ADS and also in hipfire.
It won't curve around corners, just FYI. :)
I haven't noticed either any issues with firing healing darts at people and seeing the dreaded "grey smoke" poping instead of the healing one, so no more "missed" hits.
You can have any medic weapon you want without losing older ones. Some people thought that if they want to buy medic's AR they will lose the shotgun version, that's not the case.
Healing darts also work the same way they did in KF1.
They have their own rechargeable ammo pool and are unique to the weapon, so you can have 2-3 medic weapons and swap between them if one of them is recharging darts.

Thanks for the heads up, the rest of us would have no insight into that. >:L
Darn, I come back after my 13 hour college school day, to find out I missed out on a zillion opportunities to maybe get the beta.
Finally beat Hans by keeping my team on life support. Level 8 Field Medic and still climbing!

it's okay
most people who had those opportunities are still in the same boat

The healing darts basically track players if you're close enough so it's a bit easier, being able to have an AR and shotgun at my disposal allowed me to get medic to rank 6 already.

gonna try and seek out a code again tomorrow, but I also have actual living person things I want to do with my day too
if things keep up I am gonna be saltier than mcdonalds fries
Also has anyone ever had this glitch happen to them before? Crawlers get super long legs and it actually makes them WAY CREEPIER. I legitimately felt uncomfortable after I ran into these fuckers

I've maxxed everything with 560's in SLI (no super sampling), you should be just fine.
