Hopefully they'll use this time to do a bit more bug testing so when it releases into EA we'll have that much more progress towards a full release. How's the server browser? KF's always annoyed me because it just scrolled everything super fast and made it hard to join the server I wanted till it stopped.
I'm curious if my gtx 760 can max out KF2. Anybody running it on that gpu?
Single 780 here maxxed out just fine.
So for those that have played/watched it so far is KF2 quite a bit more serious than KF1 (in regards to voice acting, etc?) I know Tripwire can always add sillier voices back in after feedback but I'm wondering if a more serious tone fits better.

Sorry for dicking in all of a sudden but are there anymore giveaways? I'm getting so wet right now because of that AA-12 model.
Willing to give a gift copy of Jazzpunk for a key, message me on steam i guess
I'm hoping for more blunt melee weapons, baseball bats and axes and such.
Steam keeps giving me the "Exeecutable is missing" when trying launching KF2. I deleted appcache, restarted, disabled firewall, and I don't know what else I can do. Is anyone having this problem? Has anyone ever solved something like this? It seems it fails at installing "msiexec" or something like that (when launching).
Late reply, but by looking at the files I think I found the problem. Killing Floor 2 only runs on Windows 64-bits. If you have the 32-bits version then you won't be able to play it. I hope this temporary.

Just had some fantastic matches with a group of cool guys, One round I managed to solo Hans after everyone died. Shit was intense and I was shaking for a good 10 mins afterwards. Also Medic weapons are sexy as hell.
Also has anyone ever had this glitch happen to them before? Crawlers get super long legs and it actually makes them WAY CREEPIER. I legitimately felt uncomfortable after I ran into these fuckers Oh shit, hey!
I remember this bug, it used to be in the mod version of KF and I think it was even there for a little while after the game was released. It has something to do with the crawler bodies using the same ragdoll skeleton as the other zeds, seeing this in KF 2 feels so nostalgic.
I had a round where everyone but this one person was dead, Hans was very low on health, the guy goes around the corner, the second Hans is at the door he just uses the Pulverizer's explosion right in his face, needless to say Hans flew that day. Oh and to make it better, they were out of ammo on everything, so they had to pick the Pulverizer up.
I played a few rounds with Dslyecxi the ArmA sim guy, dudes pretty cool. I wonder who else I'm going to run into on this early access run.
So how long does this beta run, exactly?
So how long does this beta run, exactly?
Until the 16th.
What a bullshit, GameServers has showed the list of the winners of the first quiz, and no one of them appears on the different parts (browsers, phone, tablet...) where I check. It was rigged all along :C
I played a few rounds with Dslyecxi the ArmA sim guy, dudes pretty cool. I wonder who else I'm going to run into on this early access run.
Ran into one of the Tripwire devs last game actually.
Ive just got to stop hyping myself up for this game, if i am this bad now then i might actually explode two weeks before MGS5 releases. Besides, its 3 maps and 4 classes. I'll still play it and it looks great but i gotta stop hyping myself.
Had to clutch the boss for a team that took 15+ minutes. [t]http://i.imgur.com/uIvZmV4.png[/t] Buried the fucker in my opulence.
I'm confused as to why half the thread can play the game.
I'm confused as to why half the thread can play the game.
TW handed out pre-EA keys.
I can't play and i had no keys but i have a big penis so here's that.
so are weapons still accurate regardless if you're aiming or not? can you still flick and headshot across the map?
so are weapons still accurate regardless if you're aiming or not? can you still flick and headshot across the map?
Probably not considering how you can enable crosshair too so I guess they nerfed hip fire to oblivion with it.
so are weapons still accurate regardless if you're aiming or not? can you still flick and headshot across the map?
From my few hours of playing, I would say yeah.
maybe the first shot is accurate, but if you enable the crosshair and go full auto with an assault rifle you can see that there is some spread that happens.
so are weapons still accurate regardless if you're aiming or not? can you still flick and headshot across the map?
What NachoPiggy said, hip-firing is incredibly accurate.
maybe the first shot is accurate, but if you enable the crosshair and go full auto with an assault rifle you can see that there is some spread that happens.
There's spread with every gun, even the flamethrower, it just varies spread is dynamic, the bullets leave the barrel and the barrel kick is simulated, so if you can line the barrel up the bullet will be accurate 100% of the time Pistols are so great because they have so little recoil, but other weapons need to be kept on target more actively
I got a code. KF2 is ridiculously fun, even on lower difficulties. The quirkyness of the VA from the first game is still there, thank goodness. I quite like it. Highly recommended!
I envy the people who managed to obtain a key
