I'm not sure but I think he's referring to there being one 6-player server for all of Australia.
And it's in Singapore.
I tried messing with KF2 for a short while yesterday to see if it's possible with the beta build to host locally, but seems like that's either not coded in or disabled (probably 2nd as they want to "stress test" their servers). Single player works though.
I sent this to get my key

Got a key as well, man I kinda feel bad for begging and all :v:
Will share any other key I get in this thread.
Who outside of Munk?
GameServers.com, TW devs and community manager and top streamers who I personally don't care about.
is there a way to remove the 90 fps cap in multiplayer?
I got a key from Munk just by sending him a tweet saying how smexy KF2 is, then like 6 hours later a key woop woop. I literally spent zero mins sitting on twitter pages waiting for key batches, this is just as easy as getting a Titanfall beta key, just some waiting.
I wrote him a haiku. I hope that will do.
Is it just me, or does it seem like Foster is the only one with lines for specific areas of maps? Like cryogenics, he'll comment on the temperature whereas everyone else I've played as (the funny chinese man and blue military dude) just sit there in silence.
Ana will talk about the snow, the bloody cafeteria, burning Paris, etc. The Reverend will talk about the Biolabs. That's all I know so far.
I once had Ana sing "All by myself" one time. :v:
Running well, you say?
I've had 3 crashes in 76 minutes of playtime, which is pretty annoying
Turning off in-game overlay has alleviated the crashing issue (somehow)
The game is nice but something that is really grating is that a lot of characters say things over and over. In the biolabs level, one of the characters (I think it's Mr. Foster) says "come on, you know it's classy" over and over. The reverend Alberts guy I chose to play as also says something like "small backup, killing heel" almost every single time you pull out your pistol.

You can lower the amount of chatter in options, can't you?
Welp, sent my "funny" contribution to Munk. Let's see how I score when he sees it.
the pc gamer codes don't just come with the jacket, but a cool gas mask too.

That's the PC Gamer codes from the magazines all those months ago, right?

I know it's expected since people have beta access, but if it's alright can we not post too much stuff about the bosses untagged?
I'm not sure but I think he's referring to there being one 6-player server for all of Australia.
The one server that was also full :(
The Aus ones came back a bit later but even with good ping the actual server took a dump and everybody had huge rubberbanding and made it impossible to play
My only problem with the game so far is the sensitivity. I have it set all the way to ZERO (default is 5) and it's still 3x more sensitive than i'm used to with CS and BF4. Not sure how to make it even less, is there a console command?

for anyone else who can't deal with mouse acceleration (like me), you can disable it (i believe) by going to my documents/my games/kf2/kfgame/config/kfinput and setting lookrightscale and lookupscale to 0 and bEnablemousesmoothing to false
that's the mouse acceleration.

I wouldn't have thought just seeing the model would be a problem.
I wouldn't have thought just seeing the model would be a problem.
I guess there are people who have steered away ALL videos and streams so they wouldn't get spoiled before game gets finished, I mean if so why the hell you are even browsing this thread steer away and cover your eyes.
Well considering I have a shitty PC with an integrated card right now the game actually runs pretty well.
Thats amazing. For some reason I can't even maintain anything above 30FPS on 1280 x 720 on lowest settings on an 870M and 4700MQ. I guess the game doesn't like mobile chipsets.
By the way, people who has access to game already - what 9v battery indicator in bottom right corner means?
By the way, people who has access to game already - what 9v battery indicator in bottom right corner means?
it's your battery for your flashlight / NVGs.

Yep, i actually got the issue date for the code wrong, in my confusion i sent in a email and found out it was a month later than the US version. Didn't notice it until i checked my email and i got another dosh code for the trouble. Even though i already had one. Gave it to Nitronik.

Change KF2 .exe to run on dedicated video card instead of integrated. Your gpu and cpu combo is enough to run it at almost highest settings.
The frequency of the chatter needs to be cut down, i'm using minimal chatter option but i'd like to hear at least a bit of personality (when I use non minimal chatter option)
Really just need to tweak whatever values determine how often characters speak and maybe scale it to how many there are on a team, since 6 characters yakking away can get a bit old
Also people don't seem to realise you can[sp]parry[/sp]the boss to reset his grab mode and make him go back into attack mode[sp]block (alternate fire with a melee weapon) right as he reaches you.[/sp]This is likely the solution for soloing
[editline]10th April 2015[/editline]
Also I wonder how optimised the graphics are right now? I hope they optimise a bit more but even then it's impressive
Apparently motion blur and object based motion blur (and maybe SSS?) are broken right now
[editline]10th April 2015[/editline]
Also FYI you can open console with tilde or @ and use the console commands:
setsensitivity <number>
setzoomedsensitivity <number>
to change your sensitivity, and play singleplayer by typing
open kf-outpost
open kf-bioticslab
Is it even worth it using the medic primary weapons? I can't really find a use for them because they just seem to be worse versions of other weapons, with the possible exception of the SMG because it's light but still manages to piss away ammo because of its humongous fire rate.
I've got up to medic level 3 so far, and whenever I can afford to, I always just buy off-class weapons, usually the SCAR or the AA12 for the boss round.
Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this issue of all character models in my game acting as if only the root bone is moving? In the character select it seems the head of the character is working correctly and animating but nothing else and then ingame nothing is working.
The game plays perfectly fine but it's really annoying to see swarms of clots bobbing about rigidly. It also seems to have fucked up the gore and it doesn't work.
At least it's kinda funny.

The point of the medic weapons is to shoot darts into your teammates all the time.

The Medic shotgun and assault rifle are great end-game weapons, the Medic SMG is good for early to mid-game. I've carried teams while only using Medic weapons many times before.
The best way of using the Medic SMG is burst fire headshots. If used correctly, its ammo pool will last you a wave, or the majority.

The medic weapons are pretty good? The smg is great, the bullets that it pisses out do a surprising amount of damage. the shotgun is good because it's auto and it reloads with a mag, the assault rifle is good because of it's mag size and respectable damage
And anyway as a medic you're supposed to be darting people, if you always go offperk and shirk your medic duties you aren't going to get exp and might as well be playing another perk

you playing on a laptop/integrated card? I've seen a lot of people posting about that t-pose problem and the screenshots are always low res at the lowest quality
Also from what I've seen all Medic weapons, barring the pistol, have a flashlight attached to them.
