I had that happen too with a husk. Tried to melee him but backed off to heal. He pointed the gun towards the ground, which created a small explosion but also killed him. I love how the enemies are far more detailed than in KF1

He requires everyone to pretty much expend 90% of their ammo on him to take him out, which is fair because he [I]is[/I] a boss. Half his attacks are easy to avoid just get into an open space with a bit of cover and keep moving around and use verticality to your advantage.

I'm talking about on the higher difficulties.
We had about 3 Supports who each had AA12s and we STILL couldn't bring him down.
We even brought him to an open courtyard and kited him around for like 5 minutes.
I've found being a berserker and just rushing him and beating his fucking face in with the pulverizer secondary attack while juking his attacks and staying away from his bombs does wonders for saving the team's ammo for his later stages. If you connect all 5 hits it brings him down to the next stage, at least on hard and normal. I normally just tank and fight him head on while my teammates stay back and heal me / lay down extra damage and I can bring him down to red or critical before I die, then my teammates finish him off.
I just feel like the Patriarch is a cakewalk compared to the new boss.
That's all I'm saying.

We haven't fought him in KF2 yet.
No doubt he's going to be fucking brutal.
I find this new boss a lot more predictable than the patriarch, and a lot less cheap with that fucking hitscan chaingun he had.

Don't worry, according to the PC Gamer guys the keys will take about an hour to go out. Around 10% of the keys have gone out as of now.
