Oh yea, I have some pictures with you in them. :v:

Man, if only I didn't fuck up and say that he was going to bed, when he actually wasn't...then my friend would have gotten a key last night too, and now he doesn't have one at all. Guess I'll have to sign up for every stupid competition thing to make it up to him.
Holy shit

So uh, can anyone tell me the console command on loading a game solo?
I think it was "open kf-bioticslab" or something but I think I'm wrong.

Any tips on surviving as a zerker? Not having all my fancy shit from kf1 is suffering.
They will add sharp shooter back, along with all the other old perks.
Yeah, it just felt like a weird one to leave out.
is bioticslab anything like the one in kf1?

What about the difficulty command? I've seen it get posted here, but it's buried in under 400~ posts.
that's a bit of a shame, was expecting it to be a re-imaging of the kf1 map. Same with any future maps with the same name.

Even if they don't, the community will.
Anyone know how to view the voice files? All I see are .upk files which Google says can be opened with UDK, but it's a gigabyte big and my download speed isn't very good. So I was wondering if their's any other way to open them.
Use Umodel, it can open and export sounds I believe(I may be wrong, may just be models + materials).
How are people getting access before early access?
Also, is cash still awarded to the person who kills a specimen or is that specimen's value divided up by damage done?
How are people getting access before early access?
By doing like mating birds and proving their worth to a mate (KF dev) by showing their beautiful and attractive plumage (MS paint drawings).
Except all potential mates are now taken and the rest of us don't get keys.

I just tried this and it only extracts files with AUD at the start of them, when I try anything else nothing happens. I guess I'll try downloading UDK overnight. Thanks anyway.
man, it's a bit silly for a fleshpound to 2 shot you with 100% armor and health in hard. you die way too fast in hard compared to kf1 hard.
Any tips on surviving as a zerker? Not having all my fancy shit from kf1 is suffering.
I've leveled my zerker up to level 11, not playing any more as I'm waiting for 21st to not burn myself out and survive the wipe a bit more gently.
Here are things I've learnt from playing zerker up to that moment, purely on hard difficulty:
1) Pulverizer (the hammer) is the best zerker weapon. It's pretty versatile. It has one important thing, an explosive attack. As people know, FP in KF1 had a weakness to explosive damage. Due to not having any good perks that can deal with such threats, I was mostly on guard against stronger enemies (SC and FP) and that weapon allowed me to deal with them. All of the above means I didn't really bother using any other weapon. I bought nailgun couple of times, you can switch between shotgun mode and single nail only, this way you can conserve some ammo and be accurate on longer ranges. I've found that nailgun basically works like an upgraded version of 9mm pistol. The Eviscerator on the other hand... uhm... I didn't really like this weapon. It weights a lot (10 blocks), which means you can equip hammer any more (6 blocks) and you can't parry attacks with it... it's a mix of chainsaw and buzzsaw from KF1, bought it only once and I didn't like it.
2) When dealing with bloats, either shot their head off with your 9mm or wind up your explosive attack with your hammer then forward jump onto them aiming at the head. This is a bit tricky at first, you need good timing. Bloats are much more difficult in this game and they deal mass amount of damage and REALLY obscure your vision which can result in your fast demise.
3) Anti-grab perk for zerker (level 10 required) is... super bad or I had very bad luck with it. It doesn't allow clots to grab you, however SLASHERS and probably CYSTS still can do that (!!!). I've died because of that. Because of that I've been running mostly with increased damage for every 15% of your health lost (really not sure about that use of words in this one... lost = missing? I consider it yes, but need further clarifications).
4) Learn how to parry and block attacks. Parrying is done by using blocking button at the moment when enemy melee attack is going to hit you. If successfully parried, you won't take any damage and enemy will be stunned/stumbled/flinched for ~2 seconds allowing you do deal with it or run away - crucial for Hans, the boss. Blocking is done by holding the button instead, it drastically lowers the melee damage received from the front. Good to tank that raging FP or SC if it pops in middle of your team and none can deal with it in time.
5) Try to use your side attack animations the most when dealing with trash zeds. Attack animations are now tied to movement directions. If you move forward only, you will initiate overhead attack, if you move to the sides you will initiate swipe attack. As you can imagine, it is easier to hit more enemies with the swipe attack, aim for the head level to deal with gorefasts, they will often require you double hits in order to take them down if you won't pop their heads at the first time.
6) You can kill a SC in around 3 hits with your explosive attacks on the hammer. First hit will stun/stumble him for 2 seconds in which you can use another attack, he will rage after that. You can now either parry his flurry of attacks, this will stun/stumble him again and allow you to finish him or just run back and allow your team mates to clear him out.
7) FP can be a bit tricky due to his weird animations. It takes around 4 hits with explosive hammer alone. Can't really remember if it does stumble him or he goes straight into raging animation (which takes ~2 seconds anyway), you can attack him again and parry him afterwards or just run away and kite him. His rage is finite and you can actually outrun it this time (hard difficulty), that way you can deal 1-2 attacks and run away while awaiting his rage to run off to repeat the combo.
8) In recent games I've started running with Pulverizer + Medic's pistol as my standard loadout for whole 7 rounds, then I bought a SCAR or some other heavy hitting weapon to deal with Hans on range.
Medic's pistol is a pretty amazing thing for you, it helps you keep your teammates in check just in case if your medic is busy, it allows you to have more trash clearing ammo and it weights only 1 block(!!!). It's really useful at the boss stage after bad positioning engagement.

the trade off is that they're much easier to kill now. hit them with two or three support grenades (don't know if commando grenades do more or less) and you can kill them with a hunting shotgun alt fire headshot or a few shots from an aa12. everyone now also has the ability to stumble anything other than the boss with melee, making them even easier to deal with. berserkers should be tanking the bigger threats anyway, and they don't get two shot by a fleshpound. i think they should actually increase most enemies' health, because once we get sharpshooter or demo the game is going to become trivial even on the highest difficulties.
i hope they make ultra settings more ultra. ultra shadows look like 2048 resolution and have some pretty obvious stair-stepping going on. lod/view distance in general is also pretty shit, you have model lod changes popping in 5 feet in front of you, and one of the most obvious examples is on outpost when you're walking towards the pod that's outside next to the cliff at the top of the hill from the top side of the map, the shadow on the pod slowly comes into view as you walk towards it at about 15ish feet, and a bunch of big shadows further down the hill on the structure above. there's also a serious need of some caching; the game freezes every time someone dies and whenever you buy a new weapon from the trader and then exit the menu, there's also some small stuttering as you move around the map and some really bad occlusion-related shit where you can see the skybox for a frame before whatever was around the corner loads in. very annoying to have that while the game is using less than half of my vram. the volume on a few of the sounds is earrape-tier, namely doors breaking/being hit and the scrake/fleshpound spawn-in cue. can't really think of any other issues at the moment, haven't seen many bugs yet except for some zeds getting stuck on a corner on outpost.
I fucking hate the fact that my game seems capped at 62 FPS flat no matter the settings i put it on.
Vsync is obviously disabled.

tick the variable framerate box.
Jesus, just had a 61 minute Hard round on Outpost. Our Hans glitched out and started skiing all over the map while the 1-2 remaining people tried to take him down. After like 15 minutes of kiting he finally dropped out of nowhere. I'm still not sure if he was just glitched entirely or if Hans has too much HP.
tick the variable framerate box.
Oh so that's what variable meant.
Thanks.
RIP Munk, savior of keys.
All the gore system is great and all but they way they sell it... I mean, even L4D2 had a similar thing, I don't know why are they SO much focused in that (without real observable diversity).
Ah bollocks, woke up, no key :(
Well shit, I guess he liked it then
