Aww, i haven't received a key
Looks like i'm gonna have to continue killing cops for a while :C
I don't know, can you? Time to re-take your photo. Sweet idea though, cracked me up
You can shove fleshpounds, absolutely hilarious.
Gonna try it with the scrake too.
i think that really needs removed, doesn't make sense for gameplay and definitely doesn't make sense realism-wise. maybe make it a part of berserker somehow.

Awwwww, I'm so gonna miss that "hrmhrmhrm!!! PINKY!!!!"
Has anyone talked about why the game in our libray isn't called something like Killing Floor 2 Beta? The app id of this beta is the same as the real version of the game.
https://steamdb.info/app/232090/
Quite late on this but I assume they will revoke everybodys licenses, so that people can just buy the game and continue playing without downloading again. Also free advertising since it will stay in peoples librarys until they delete the local content or purchase.
I wish people would stop shooting Hans Volter when he's healing. He's invincible, the best thing you can do is heal the person being grabbed.
I imagine it's actually impossible to kill him until his last stage, in which case as soon as he pops smoke and starts chasing someone you may as well stop shooting him.
They say knowledge is half the battle
Honestly a big problem for me in this game is ignorance.
I simply have no clue about what triggers Fleshpounds or how to deal with Hans
yeah they all seem pretty homogenized. i really miss the fp's sounds, he had such a cool voice, his laugh and aggro sound were spooky as fuck.
I'M GOING TO FIX YOU.
Holy Shit, both the FP and Scrake can be stunned with the shove as long as they are walking/standing ectra, shoving while charging is a bit trickier and you'll likely take damage.
I killed 2 fps when everyone else died by stunning, gunning and running.

Tripwire is weird.

why are the bosses always an old guy with augmentations? There should be like a boss fight where's two super fleshpounds or something
why are the bosses always an old guy with augmentations? There should be like a boss fight where's two super fleshpounds or something
After a few more fights with Hans, I only have two issues with him:
1. Why is an anemic old guy in a suit so durable.
2. The way the fight is structured makes him easiest with 2-4 people, hard without great cooperation with 5+, and practically impossible solo.
two super fleshpounds or something
I have longed for the day where there's a fleshpound who also has grinders for legs, and he can lay down with outstretched limbs and rev the grinders like wheels. We can call him a carpound.
Also I hope they include more fully fleshed objective modes this time. Transit is one of my favorite maps although half the reason is due to the amount of Zeds there are so it's a real slaughterhouse rather than the Zeds trickling in.
hans's design makes no sense. he should be wearing a bunch of armor and slowly end up looking like he does now, not like that the entire time.
When your team dies and you spectate Hans, I sit there and stare with contempt while he does the robot.
Does anyone find hit detection when they're directly in-front of you to be a bit unpredictable? At least with shotguns.
I wouldn't be surprised if hans was horzine scientist.
I'm really looking forward to player maps. The KF1 maps will most likely be ported, but I would really love to see some of the mod maps get ported with a fresh coat of paint using all the new assets. After all, who wouldn't want to see KF-420-Ganja-Farm in UE3.x?

As you can see he's got machinery keeping him alive. When he's severely wounded you can see electrical sparks all over his body and blood pouring out of his joints
Dreams falling apart guys, no key makes me a sad man :suicide:
I guess 21st it is.
So, to anybody who has actually been lucky enough to play the game in its early state, how is the hit detection/hitboxes with enemies? The problem I had with the previous Killing Floor was how awkward getting headshots could be, I'm hoping it's much cleaner and sensible in the sequel compared to the last one.

You can now hit a cartwheeling, flipping, somersaulting stalker in the face 100% of the time as long as you're 100% accurate
Hit detection is clientside too
I've experienced some zed rubberbanding/teleportation due to bugs/server lag I guess, and also a side point I sometimes lag horribly when a team member dies, but both will be patched shortly you would think

Hit detection is practically 1:1 where the model is.
It's so good that it can actually be dangerous with mobile enemies that shield their face or move a lot.
On the Snowy map forget what it's called, dunno if it's just me but has anyone or anyone on the team weld any door shut and when the zeds start banging on it, and the audio of the banging is sooooo loud it smothers every other sound in the game and have you turning down your volume because of how loud it is.
I had one team where someone decided to weld every door shut on the map for exp and when the rounds started, it was just pure ear rape. No matter how far you are from the door, it all sounds like you were standing next to the door yourself.

Tried some Hell on Earth for shiggles.
Turns out bloats can run.
That's a bad thing.
Believe it or not, don't shoot immediately while reloading, as it actually curves your shot upwards. It hit the second time because the clot got closer, and your camera lowered a Bit.

how could it affect it so badly to where that manages to miss all three clots

Well, the gun's pointed at the ceiling.

Barrel points up and therefor shells fly where barrel points at, realistic and high tech.

Barrel's pointed at the ceiling, therefore you shot the ceiling.
