What do you guys think about the global sounds the fleshpound and scrake make?
I feel pretty neutral towards it. On one hand it was fun to suddenly see a fleshpound round the corner ready to pound your booty in without warning, but on the other hearing them ahead of time lets the team properly prepare for them.
How do I report bugs?
These purepings guys are the only Australian servers that exist right now and they are almost always offline
I just want to play..

Was speccing a HoE game since there's literally none to play here and caught this
A husk set a cyst on fire so it ran over to the husk and kicked its ass

That happened in one of my games as well. Cysts don't play no games when it comes to them husks.

I didn't know they could infight, that's pretty cool. Hopefully they'll expand on that and give us some weapons/grenades that confuse Zeds and make crowds of them infight.

They also don't like it when bloats throw up on them :v:
Man, I'm jealous of all you people who has a key. Wish you all much fun.
Also, where do you see how much weight you're carrying on the hud. I can't find it anywhere in any videos/livestreams I've seen of it. Or I'm just pure blind.

You only see it in shop interface.
The way I see hans is he's an evil wernher von braun type person, not really caring about who he works for, the nazis just had the budget at the time.
Here, have a laggy video of one of the strangest bugs i've ever seen:

Literally too addicting. Doing this for my own good.
I don't want the game completely burnt out by the time my friends get it. Especially when there's only 4 perks and they'll all be reset on EA launch.

That's why you only play one perk now, and then try out the rest on EA

So they need to fix Hans getting stuck on welded doors, incredibly easy to beat him that way.
Maybe increase the damage he does to doors so they break quicker, or fix his AI to target people shooting him over continuing to attack the doors.
Did someone already talk about how big the download size will be? I really want to get it once it's out of early access but I'm not entirely willing to spend a month downloading 200 GB of alternate reloading animations.

Stress Tests' is 14.4GB *expanded.
Knowing the nature of the UT engine, I can't see it being beyond 20-25 on full release. It might balloon to 30+ many years down the road after lots of DLC.

When we tried that, he exploded through the door the second he needed to grab someone. I guess if everyone reliably moves and finds another door, you can rinse and repeat?

Download size is just under 5 GB. Once it's downloaded the game expands into just under 15 GB.
There is enough kickback from the double barrel alt fire that you can actually use it like the Force of Nature from TF2 and jump higher in the air. You can make some jumps to places as shortcuts instead of using the stairs. Pretty fucking rad.
If anyone has spare time and wants a key really badly, try sending Leland Scali KF themed food art on twitter. Worked for me.
I wanna ask for those who play Bezerker atm as their main. Do you think the bezerker is a bit weak at the moment? I feel like the Hammer is a must at all times to have and it's kinda silly how it doesn't always insta-kill the cannon fodder. The saw blade weapon is just beyond useless. Really, the only thing it could be used for is killing cannon fodder in a bit of a shorter time, otherwise the flying blades are complete garbage cause they don't deal enough damage.
Love the feel of the weapons in this. Hope they add the Magnum's in.

I bought the Eviscerator once, and never touched it again. It's good at killing trash Zeds, but by the time you have the money for it, that's not what you need. I'd rather have a chainsaw melee weapon that can block, shred Zeds, and do heavy swings.

As a Bezerker I feel completely useless when it comes to Hans, really. I tried my best to spam the shit out of him with my Hammer's heavy attack and pure spam with the Nail Gun point blank and it just doesn't feel like I can do enough damage to compare with, say, a Support.

What a Zerker ought to do with Hans is force him into melee combat with him and parry defensively so everyone else can shoot him. I did this with 2~ medics/people with medic pistols and everyone else magdumping him while he was on me. I managed to minimize damage to everyone else and got him on the brink of turning red before going down because I got pushed into a terrible area for melee combat. They managed to wrap it up, though.

Huh, that actually sounds like a solid strat. Gonna try that next time I play with some friends.

Serbia strong!
I think that in the tab menu ingame where the HP is displayed should be in percentage instead of showing the actual HP. Sometimes the person that needs healing is not always in sight where I am so I would check the tab menu to see if anyone is hurt. I'm the type of medic that would heal every little scratch because seeing people not in full HP bothers me quite a bit. It's hard to tell if someone is full on HP or not if their max HP is dependent on perk lvl. Someone with max HP of 104? How am I suppose to know that's their max HP and not 115 or so
Continuing in the vein of those old KF1 specimen quotes videos, I decided I'd try the same for KF2. Unfortunately, it seems there aren't nearly as many intelligible lines this time around, but I suppose these still might be somewhat useful in helping identify specimens by their sounds or some such. Nonetheless, I've started with the Siren just for funsies:

Actually, hearing her sounds edited together like that isn't very funsies. It's not very funsies at all. Don't know why I called it that.

Fleshpound and Scrake also finished processing:

Would you be kind enough to explain how you extracted the sound files? I can't seem to figure it out with UDK and Umodel only worked a tiny bit.
Damn it I'm so hyped. :(
Not sure how it'll run on my old rig though. HD4870 runs Red Orchestra 2 perfectly so there's that. Does anyone have an extra beta key ?
