The minimum doesn't include 32-bit systems.
Oh booooooooooooooooooooooooooooy, why.
next you're going to be asking why they don't support windows xp
I can almost guarantee that all XP will wiped for the main launch, and frankly it should.
I could've sworn the Mr. Foster voice was the old one from the first game. At least he sounds pretty good/close.
My understanding was that the military was getting their butthole rammed by the sheer number of zeds and the Patriarch clones, so the characters we play as are the survivors who, through their superior training or intrinsic bloodlust, managed to avoid dying in the outbreak.

It's usually not explicitly said, but a lot of zombie games imply the only reason you're alive is because the military/other survivors killed most of the nasties, but died in the process.
Who knows what do the zeds actually do and field when they face an actual army. Maybe different kinds of Zeds that just don't turn up unless there's more than a few people. Maybe their numbers get simply unmanageable. Maybe they are this kind of swarm intelligence that gets smarter the more individuals ate within the swarm and develops more advanced tactics against bigger resistance.
Or maybe we are trying too hard to give zombie exploration game sense even when it never needed any.
zombie apocalypse settings make no sense at the best of times, no reason to bother picking it apart this heavy, when i bought killing floor i thought you were just killing clones for lols and cash, and that was plenty.for me
Wait, you can't shoot through teammates? I swear I keep seeing my AA pellets go through that level 0 Berzerker who is cockblocking the Fleshpound ahead.
There is only one way to explain why the survivors are better then the military.
DOSH LOTTA DOSH
But seriously, its a zombie wave survival game. It makes no sense that the boss would go alone without any other zeds at all for example.
Hordes and Hordes of Patriarchs?
Also Husks can shoot down helicopters, as seen in Mountain Pass.

B-but but, my Comodore...
today's the last day of the beta, boys.
Then it's 4 days until the EA release. Wonder if they'll do any more tweaking in that period
Will they add more guns for the EA?
Wait, you can't shoot through teammates? I swear I keep seeing my AA pellets go through that level 0 Berzerker who is cockblocking the Fleshpound ahead.
You can shot through your teammates if your weapon has any penetration.
It was the same in KF1.
Weapons with penetration did go through your teammates, but due to how penetration mechanics works, they dealt lower damage due to going through first target already (in this case a teammate instead of a ZED).
In other words.
Weapon can penetrate multiple targets? = you can shot through teammates.
I hope EA gets a little more somethin' somethin' for the launch.
I mean I'm going to buy the deluxe edition just because I want that artbook and soundtrack, but the game is a little skeletal right now. Not sure how much I'd want to burn it in with only four perks and three maps.
Does Tripwire have any public schedule of how long they expect EA to last?
http://forums.tripwireinteractive.com/showpost.php?p=1371657&postcount=19
If you want to do something about this try to gather high amount of names or something to show that there is demand for 32bit ver.
[editline]15th April 2015[/editline]
I would first recommend making poll on their own forums but then again voting on polls would require registering there and I doubt many people would even arse to do such thing.
Other idea would be make a http://strawpoll.me/ for example and share it around and see if you can get people vote yes if they would be interested in 32bit version, and maybe even ask about Devs on twitter/forums how many people you would need to get vote in order to get 32bit version in "things to do in future for certain"
Looks like they changed their minds, for the good I suppose. Why would you even use 32 bit OS nowadays?
No 32 bit support (ever).
some people still haven't updated.

Some time before the end of 2015. They say it on the store page.

If you want to play videogames you're expected to have a dedicated rig nowadays
or actually if you want to tackle on anything that aren't lightweight tasks

We'll have to see if Tripwire can hold up to their claim of "we'll show everyone how to do Early Access right."
some people still haven't updated.
People have had about 10 years to move to 64-bit (counting from the release of Windows XP 64-bit and the first commercial dual-core). I find it kinda strange that some people haven't moved within the past 5 years to 64-bit (except for dire circumstances where one can't afford or have access to it), given the pace at which technology grows and how much processing power newer games need now.

I bet that people who complain about lack of 32-bit support are the ones who bought 100$ laptops on some sale, or a pre-made 200$ gaming PC in one of their local supermarkets and got some Windows 7 Starter or Home edition in 32-bit.

One of the developers said (in TotalBiscuit's vid I think) that it should take roughly as long as Red Orchestra 2 took to be fully polished up and considered a complete game by them after it was released thanks to patches, which is about 8 months or so. But as they are going along and adding new perks and stuff perhaps it could be longer if they don't already have it done and are just spacing out the content's release.

I have custom built toaster from 2008 with 32bit that I assembled with arcane magic.
Beta has been extended for another day:

That was nice of them, one less day to wait for EA then.
I hope when EA does hit we at least get a new map or something to go through so we're not waiting weeks for more content.
What does EA stand for? Pardon my apparent inability to read through the fucking thread.
