Damn, just as when I need to go to sleep.
Have fun, guys.
All this beta being extended and here I am...without a key
They mentioned an update too, but I don't see the notes?
All I found are these:
GeneralNumerous optimizations for the server browser
Added a server limit filter (how many servers are shown in browser)
Added WebAdminPort and QueryPort command line options for servers
Medics will now receive XP bark more often for healing
Tweaked how EMP grenades effect Fleshpound
Reduced server install size
BugsFix for Max Player override in Web Admin
Fixed issue where server browser would be unresponsive if first server selected did not respond back to client
Fix for perk abilities and passive upgrades not triggering on leveling
Fix a bug where special squads stopped spawning in multiplayer
I just started playing Divine Cybermancy, does KF have any connection to that game? The thread title made me curious.

no

Nope that's why we wanted to change it earlier but it never ended up happening.

No, I don't know what kind of joke the title's supposed to be making, shooting things is all they've got in common.
I encountered one of strangest bugs

He stayed dead after wave ended and couldn't respawn either
I know it won't go anywhere, but I pitched a custom music suggestion to the Tripwire's Forums.
Some of you might not care, but I'm big on swapping out the music and I'm not looking forward to having to reverse engineer whatever .wem files are to get it working. :v:

it's cuz KF2 is set in France and E.Y.E. is a French game
it's cuz KF2 is set in France and E.Y.E. is a French game
But KF2 isn't set in France...? There is just an unfortunate combo of Burning Paris (looks better than original) and a French trader pod operator.
realtalk now, it's set in France for the first maps but the overview blurb on the website says it takes place in the 'European Union' so evidently there'll be maps outside it. BUT FOR NOW, it's set in France.
That's a bit of weird logic to follow, when you "temporarily" base a setting of the game in one place based on small variety of maps available in beta, even though informations tell you that actions takes place all around EU and will be presented in full version. For me this clearly states that Killing Floor 2 isn't based in France, but it does include it as one of the locations where action is takes place.
Besides that, are you sure that Biotics Lab and Outpost are set in France?
Any signs that indicate that they are in that country?

Lab could be anywhere, but the signs are in English, Outpost is presumably in the Alps

Since when you can see borealis aurora from Alps in France?
If following by the logic of locations being set in EU only, I would place them that way:
Outpost is most likely set in Sweden or Finland.
Burning Paris is of course in France.
Biotics Lab can be anywhere, but I vote for England due to its presence in previous title.
KF2 is set in France in the same way that the first one was set in England, basically. It's not totally limited to England but it's the focus.
Holy shit Vaccination on Medic is so good. I kept everyone alive from Hans' gunfire by just spamming darts on them. That armor makes a difference against those damn guns, and I don't lose healing effectiveness like with Armament.
Decreasing the resolution does help the framerate - the game still shuts down after 15 minutes. I remember this happening with Metro as well. Could it be a DirectX thing?
Also my audio stutters when loud noises happen.

Forget it, the game's min requirements show that DX10 is compatible with the game.
I understand I only need better hardware.

I put it down to temperature and/or power supply.
how much RAM have you got on board?
Holy shit. There is a HUGE difference between a medium 7 wave game and a long 10 wave game. On hard difficulty, starting like wave 6 or 7, the game sends 3 or 4 scrakes at a time, and then a fleshpound or two or three, on top of hundreds of normal zeds. It's crazy
i only ever played long in normal kf since like day one. KF2 long sounds like hell
i only ever played long in normal kf since like day one. KF2 long sounds like hell
Me too, anything other than long was just too short and easy, but in KF2 the number of zeds per wave spikes and the number of scrakes, sirens and fleshpounds seems to rise pretty steeply too
Sounds good for XP then.
sounds like long normal would scale in difficulty similar to medium suicidal then if you're getting 3-4 scrakes at wave 6-7.
Really want to buy this game but the increased difficulty worries me cause i only played in pubs in KF1
Really want to buy this game but the increased difficulty worries me cause i only played in pubs in KF1
Don't worry, it's manageable. Plus, there's this beautiful thing called "Facepunch" on which you can find other like-minded people to play videogames with! nifty, uh?
Had a 10 wave game on hard.
Was fun and i expected something harder, though we got destroyed by Hans. I think Hans is truely the pubs breaker in anything higher than normal.
i've beaten pretty much every difficulty on every map except for burning paris on hoe and this is mainly because there really is no good spot to fight hans at. there's just way too many open spaces and the only real options you have are the small ambulance at the top of the stairs at eiffel tower, or the hotel/garden area with the walkway.

I've seen a support solo Hans at the train station. Just run circles and do not walk inside the traincars

4GB; could it be a RAM issue though?

I think the difficulty will even out as we get more content and people get used to the game. Especially considering not everyone in that stress test beta was necessarily a KF veteran or anything. I met a lot of bad people who didn't know the basics, and it only takes 1 or 2 to sink a team.
