;47914607']I got riposting into a confirmed thing in DS1, managed to do it to everything that could be parried. It was in DS2 that I had to rely on a target shield and 110 ADP because I play with 60 FPS and my parry frames are fucking halved.
Strange how that would happen, alongside the way that durability decreases twice as fast. I'm guessing the system operates based on how many frames have passed since a specific event. In the case of parrying, I guess it works like "if frames rendered since parry event is lower than (insert number here), riposte is possible", only in a different language without the Pythonisms. It is probably different for the durability bug, since it probably checks each frame for collision and deals durability damage every frame. A strange system indeed. In order to fix the systems, I would guess that doubling the frame-limit on the riposte window would help make ripostes as easy as they were if you played at 30 frames, while to fix the durability bug one would need to halve the durability damage dealt per frame, bringing the effective durability of your weapons and armour back up to the levels they were at when played at 30.
I would love to do a faith build again but since at awful nerf, I haven't touched it whatsoever.

Kinda didn't even care about the nerf. There always has to be a Dayman, so I made one.
What's the DS2 equivalent of GiantsDad?
you mean Giantdad?
Havelyn
You can make a mean Giantdad lookalike with the Throne Defender armor and Pharros mask. If you mean in terms of actual functionality, I think you can get the same effect from the Smelter armor and penal mask.
Yeah, I was mainly going for looks. But functionality works too.

And even gives some hints to the state of the world. seems like a fucked up age of dark
That armor looks like a super decayed version of the elite knight set from DS1.
Is it just me, or does the left hand look more like he's giving the thumbs-up? Looks like it, but at a second glance it's probably just the game's Chosen Undead picking up some dust and letting it flow out of his hand.
Early 2016? I'm worried about that.

Dark souls has always had the sense of an apocalypse, ruins, dilapidation, most of all the silence (unless you're fighting something big) I hope that sense is even stronger in this game
Early 2016? I'm worried about that.
I'm gonna bet it'll be a March release, considering Bloodborne and DS2.
I just hope 2 years will be enough. That's not long for a sequel.
I just hope 2 years will be enough. That's not long for a sequel.
It's about the same amount of time from DeS to DaS1. Which means unless they've improved there's a chance we'll end up with some of the roughness of DaS1.

Will we see the remaining gods or important people like Velka, Astor, Flann, and visit the last haven of the gods? Will the gods even play a part in the First Flame due to their powers stemming from it? Whose even in charge with Gwyn and Gwyndolin gone? Is the Age of Dark even worth it now that we know it's possible outcome?
I'm just worried about this annual Souls thing, oh well gotta wait till gameplay before I judge it I guess.

I thought Drangleic was hundreds of years in the future where Lordran basically no longer existed. Unless Anor Londo still stands and we just never visited it. [sp2]Which then brings up the question why the fuck was Ornstein in Heide.[/sp2]

Either this game occurs chronologically before DS2, or DS2 is retconned.

A good number of characters refer to how the flow of time is distorted, and there's a decent chance [sp2]the Last Giant hates you so much because he was the Giant Lord and he remembers the time you beat the shit out of him, which you did by traveling back in time.[/sp2] To be honest though, Dark Souls 2's story was so far removed from Dark Souls 1 that they might not even have to explain anything at all. If they do bring anything back, I want to see more stuff from the Lost Crowns. That whole deal was far and away the most interesting element of DS2's story to me.
In DS1, wait ~.5 seconds (Basically, don't press the attack the exact moment you parry, wait a tiny bit) in the parry animation then wreck em.
Is that different for different enemies? Because I know for a fact those spear-wielding dickheads in the Undead Burg can be attacked as soon as your shield hits their sword.

Play as the pygmy, so easily forgotten Vanquishing the dragons in the age of dragons would be so badass. Join either Gwyn's army, Chaos daughter or if you feel adventurous, Nito's dead army.
