Looks baller as fuck. I can't even begin to fathom how much time must've passed if that is indeed Anor Londo.
Oh my god, these are looking sooooooooo good
Oh wow the player character is literally a skeleton my dream has finally come true.
The trailer was a tad underwhelming in my opinion but the idea of revisiting old locations really makes me curious. Looking forward to it, also the armor that is being showcased everywhere looks pretty awful in my opinion.
What? I know Solaire isn't in the game, but kibbleknight suggested the Giant that emerged from Firelink in the trailer might be Gwyn's exiled firstborn. I said he wasn't because Gwyn's exiled firstborn is Solaire.
No, I meant it's been outright stated that the Firstborn is not in DS1. Since Solaire is in the game, he can't be the firstborn.

Dark Souls Design Works
Whatever the case is, it would be fantastic to finally find out what really happened to Gwyn's firstborn son. If Dark Souls 3 really will be set in Anor Londo, then there's a great opportunity for many unanswered questions to be answered, if only partially and/or through interpretation.
yessss more weird enemies this time please I love the design of the helmet on John Darksouls the third, just when you think helmets couldn't get any more original

Now where Fallout 4 was cool and all, Dark Souls 3 is where my heart is.
I thought it was fine as a first trailer, it didn't show off much but its got me interested in the game.
Well, I was mostly comparing it to the trailer of Dark Souls 2 which was quite amazing in my opinion even if it wasn't representative of the game. It had various scenes and environments that all looked pretty great with some nice action.

all i wanna know is what's up with the embers constantly shown on the PC's body and the giant in the DS3 trailer
all i wanna know is what's up with the embers constantly shown on the PC's body and the giant in the DS3 trailer
Me too. We know you can burn bodies to create summon signs or something, and that there's a mechanic in the game nicknamed 'heat up' that increases the danger of bosses, so i'm guessing there's a theme of sacrifice in this one Something to do with the age of dark? i.e. those who were previously doomed to be hollowed can now die? I'm a little rusty on the lore
I mean, the tagline is "only embers remain," probably has something to do with that. Makes me wonder what'll happen with Pyromancy.
so, I guess the bamco stream didn't happen?
Only embers remain? Embers on MC and Big Guy? Muk-puking sun? Everyone confirmed actually on fire 24/7
With the flame gone humans will return to their natural state which means you're gonna be hollowed as fuck 24/7 I mean look at your face, thats full on lord of cinders shit.
all i wanna know is what's up with the embers constantly shown on the PC's body and the giant in the DS3 trailer
Shit's on fire, yo.
twitch got DDOSed while namco was on :(
-wrong thread-
You probably wont even be able to pop humanity anymore. like vendrick said, all that was just a fleeting form from gwyn lighting up. I wonder if all the burning going on has anything to do with the flames you see in the ds1 hollow's eyes? What if now that theres no linking of the first flame to the bonfires, humanity is just being straight burned up while its inside you? The more humanity you get, the more you "heat up" and instead of needing a radioactive mess of humanity to keep a bonfire going now anyone with unburnt humanity would work for fuel, sort of like how charcoal burns better than wood [editline]15th June 2015[/editline] They finally buffed immolation!
twitch got DDOSed while namco was on :(
Shut I missed bamco what did they show
I hope they bring back the shield design contest for DS3.
Looks like the souls world finally entered the age of dark judging by the trailer.

[editline]15th June 2015[/editline] Fucking perfect. http://youtubedoubler.com/fMaG Mute DSIII trailer. [editline]15th June 2015[/editline] Fuuck.
So I just saw the trailer. Please tell me I am right when I say that city in the trailer is Anor Londo
Where the hell do all these mountains come from?
Where the hell do all these mountains come from?
Anor Londo looks fucked, so it's been hundreds or thousands of years. Who knows what kind of tectonic movement has been in that place
