If he's aggro'd him, sitting down at the Bonfire won't reset that, just his position.
I mean if he wants to alt+tab, he should move away from everyone before doing so. That way stuff like this doesn't happen.
I would have if I knew you could even hit NPCs.
I wonder if a medium attack would work in souls light medium heavy this would simply be to give additional moves per moveset
I wonder if a medium attack would work in souls light medium heavy this would simply be to give additional moves per moveset
at last i'll have a reason to buy a fightstick
I mean if he wants to alt+tab, he should move away from everyone before doing so. That way stuff like this doesn't happen.
Just open the menu if you want to alt+tab, you can't attack with the menu open.
Is there some advised route I'm meant to be taking in SotFS? I beat the Dragonslayer in Tower of Flame but struggled to reach the Cathedral. I wandered around and found a pirates cove but didn't really want to explore that just yet (smelt like Blighttown), went back to Mejula and found the Forest of Giants. I've killed the Last Giant and the Persuer and been taken to...a big white citadel whose name escapes me. I can roam about a little in here but I can't get back to the bonfire or progress, there's two doors that only open one way and a statue blocking another. There's also a ghost Persuer who left when I ran through a door and now his arena is empty. What do?

I haven't played much SotFS but usually the order of areas usually goes Majula > FotFG > The Lost Bastille or alternatively Majula > Heides Tower of Flame > No-Mans Wharf > The Lost Bastille (if you take the former you miss out on a good chunk of the Lost Bastille that you can only reach through No-Mans). From there you go back to Majula then take the path to Heides, but instead of going right talk to the lady there and pay to rotate the room, then you can progress through the rest of the game. [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] I'm not sure if that spoils anything, but the first time I played DSII I had no clue where to go after those areas and only through reading a guide did I learn the importance of that damned rotunda room.
I'm thinking about doing a LORD LIFT!!!! build but I wonder what builds people use for it and I was thinking of using pyromancy too for FLAMING FISTS OF FURY.
I don't know how exactly the LORD LIFT!!!! is built, but if you're interested in following the way of Bone Lee, you will aim for reaching your softcaps in Str and Dex (and even pumping more into it later) while steadily increasing your Adp and Hp for extreme thick skin and being able to dodge everything. Make sure you get to the Ivory King DLC quickly if you truely want to follow Bone Lee's path and quire the bone fist.
Playing Dark Souls 2 with a controller is like a whole new experience, It's so much better than KB+M
I don't know how exactly the LORD LIFT!!!! is built,
Level up strength [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] A lot
Holy hell is power stanced caestus effective. I've just stomped the ruin sentinels in one go even AFTER accidentally falling off and getting all three after me. though I did have beatrice to help I usually die to the sentinels even with help more often the once. Even fucked up a few red phantoms.
Black Persuer drops Twinkly tits, one chest at the bonfire gave you a branch for healing stone dudes (statues blocking your way).
Thanks, I was stood there with it in my Inventory trying to use it. Beaten the Ruin Guardians, gotten myself a TWINBLADE. It's cool as shit and makes me regret putting most of my souls into upgrading my Winged Spear. EDIT: Shiiit, there's apparently five more Twinblades in the game. This one does piss-poor damage but it hits a lot, guessing it works best if I...apply poison or something. You could do that in DS1, guessing it made the jump to 2. Now to figure out how!
i'm tempted to change this into my notification sound but i'm sure il go paranoid
Level up strength [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline] A lot
If you don't have 99 str and aren't dual wielding smelter hammers you are doing it wrong
If there's really this many new people playing SotFS, I should probably consider making a new character to invade them all. :v: [editline]22nd June 2015[/editline]
i'm tempted to change this into my notification sound but i'm sure il go paranoid
yoink

Im stuck at ornstein and smoff with 0 souls, 0 humanity, i thought everyone was bullshitting about this fight because i heard the same thing about capra and that went smoothly for me I think ive died about 30 times now, will probably reach 100 before i get thru this
Posted this in another thread but I thought it really was interesting. I've been playing a lot of Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin Edition and let me tell you, this game handles motion blur very, very well. I'm generally not the biggest fan of motion blur since games can tend to abuse it for crazy first person effects, but this is fantastic. I'm going to link this image since some might find it spoilery (it's an image of a boss generally doing the middle of Dark Souls II) and tell me, on the boss most notably, if this isn't fantastic motion blur. It takes a fantasy image makes it look so bizarrely realistic. I love it to death; fantastic game so far. Love it, love it, love it.

You'll also get some practice on the bossfight.
Just how active is the PS3 version of Dark Souls 1? I'm half tempted to buy it again so i can go back to my old stomping grounds. Once i beat the shit out of SotfS, that is. If i can be bothered to go through the new placements for a third attempt.

At least in the forest.
For the new players here playing SotFS, I'll be running around the beginner areas as this. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/517134452476780059/1644CFE3910B72999034BF33EA5D5FDD0B92A85E/[/t] Will be both co-oping and invading newbies to give them a warm welcome into the game. :v: Will only be using basic strategies against them when invading so they have a feel for how combat works. Hope to see you guys there!
Are there many people still on the original DS2? I already had everything by the time SotFS came out and I don't care for the 'upgrades' much so I haven't bothered to get it. If I happened to get it does it replace the original version on the Steam Library completely?

I uninstalled the first one to save space so I can't say how active it is.
I can't tell if half the people I'm invading in the beginner areas are hackers or not. The people in question are usually wearing end-game armor and weapons. I guess theoretically they could have just been using the Agape Ring the entire game, but that feels unlikely. Well this just removes the fun out of everything. :T
