Rr Titchy Gren, yeah. He only sells orbs in NG+, but you can ascetic the fire right next to him for the same effect. Just remember that'll respawn the horse but hole ahead too.
Depending on your progress, that horse is nothing.
Taking my brother on an adventure through Dark Souls, and he hasn't really used a controller in probably a decade. 1 1/2 hours in we made it to the Undead Burg bonfire, so this is gonna be a long game. I'm recording the whole thing for my own amusement because watching him suffer is just too funny.

BEHOLD, for I believe I may have found the PERFECt sweet spot in Soul Memory for near constant Mirror Knight invasions. This seems to be the perfect sweet spot for getting summoned. Anything lower or higher seems to dramatically decrease the chance of getting summoned.
My brother threw the controller in fright when the Asylum Demon first jumped in on him.
Reminds me of those REACT teens who had to play through the tutorial level and they all lose their shit when they meet the Asylum Demon for the first time. When he summons invaders, if no name pops up while he's summoning them, then it's just NPC's.
If it cant find a player you get a bot.

200 hours in and i still find out new things about this game
This was cool to watch but I wish they left Sam out. He annoys me greatly for some reason.
I forgot the names of all the teens and thought to myself, "he's probably talking about that annoying pottymouth kid", then I check back and lo' and behold I was right. :v:
I know this might be old but to recognize when Mirror Knight is summoning a real player in 2 simple stuff: -If summoning a real player, MK will stab the sword on the ground (can damage you) and then place the shield in front of it (can damage you). Offline summoning is MK slowly placing only the shield down -Notification of the player being summoned\invading
wait those are actual players? holy shit i thought they were bots
When he summons a bot, he puts the shield on the ground normally. When he's summoning a player, it's a different shield animation. Also there's a player name when he's summoning a player, as Nidhogg said.
I need help. Can't get Dark Souls 1 to start. Always closes right at the main menu after I hit start. Using a fresh install.
I need help. Can't get Dark Souls 1 to start. Always closes right at the main menu after I hit start. Using a fresh install.
are you using the latest dsfix?
are you using the latest dsfix?
Using a fresh install.
Using a fresh install.
I mean you can be using a fresh install, referring to time frame, and using the latest dsfix.
I mean you can be using a fresh install, referring to time frame, and using the latest dsfix.
ok, anyone got any ideas? I feel like it might be something with GFWL because I havent played DS1 since the removal of GFWL
In the poison world in Dark Souls Scholar, FUCK THIS SHIT WHY I love this game. To death. I actually felt my life draining away when that boss appeared to destroy my armor.
After playing some of SotFS I have to say the enemy placement in the early areas is MUCH more interesting. That could just be because I disliked the original enemy placement but I've had a lot more fun with SotFS and felt there were a lot fewer bullshit or boring encounters early on.
ok, anyone got any ideas? I feel like it might be something with GFWL because I havent played DS1 since the removal of GFWL
Did you A. Switch it over to the Steam Beta in the Steam Properties and B. Install the latest dsfix?
I don't think you need to be in the beta anymore for GFWL removal. My Dark Souls isn't in beta and it's on steamworks.
Old dsfix won't work with steam version though I think
Old dsfix won't work with steam version though I think
A new "final" version was released after the Steamworks update. Durante stated this would be his last update.
K, started playing DS2:SotFS and i gotta say it's a lot harder than DS1 imo.
You're going to share, right? Sharing is caring.
So long as he stops ripping out audio cables and shit when he gets mad then yes absolutely.
K, started playing DS2:SotFS and i gotta say it's a lot harder than DS1 imo.
Upgrade your ADP and it gets a lot easier.
K, started playing DS2:SotFS and i gotta say it's a lot harder than DS1 imo.
Probably only feels that way 'cuz DS2 plays much differently than DS1 did. I'm sure once you get used to the new feel of everything it'll be much easier. [editline]29th June 2015[/editline]
Upgrade your ADP and it gets a lot easier.
And this, i-frames has its own stat now, annoyingly
So long as he stops ripping out audio cables and shit when he gets mad then yes absolutely.
What the shit. Why the audio cables?
