Beat the Skeleton Lords. What a stupid bossfight. Also, Poisonland can go gargle a bag of dicks. This isn't good gameplay From Software.

The fucking goof troop of skellies is probably one of my favorite parts of the game just because of how bizarre it is.

They're not very interesting and you can kill all three of them in 30 seconds or less. Then you just have to kite Two-Dozen Skellingtons around a cave. That's not a boss battle. Covetous Demon was more of a boss-battle than Skeleton Lords.
Skeleton Lords are an example of a multi-boss done right. [editline] vawer [/editline] I see some funnies but think about it, the bosses just kinda stand back and cast at you while you worry about the adds that spawn. The bosses take a back seat to the real challenge and it's a fun, but easy fight, it isn't "YOU GUYS LIKED THE GARGOYLES? HERE HAVE SIX"
The skele lords and the church boss fights felt more like elite mobs from diablo. Just slightly tougher fights with a bunch of normal enemies. I still enjoy those boss fights though.
Regarding the skeleton lords, y'all know that killing a boss causes the normal skellies to spawn, right? One brings in the wheel skellies, one the shield bearers, and the last the falchion wielders. Kill only one boss, dispatch mobs, repeat. Makes things easier.

I'd rather pick them than Four Kings for multiple boss fights.
ng+++ 4kids is not a fun fight, ill tell you what.
Imo 4 Amigos isn't a fun fight in general.

The only shit I had to worry about were the Bonewheels.
I had a little more trouble than most the first time I did the Skelly lord boss fight. See, when I first played through DS2 I'd decided, fuck logic, and went with a 12 vigor build so I could pour points into dodging, attunement, strength, dexterity, and faith. I wore Elite Knight armor until NG+2, because I'm cool like that. When I first encountered the Skelly lords, I killed all of them and all their adds, then got spanked by the last bonewheel and died from half HP. Incidentally, my glass cannon PVP build actually worked; and I used only a claymore and the royal kiteshield for that Oscar of Astora cosplay. I did die a lot, but I still killed more people than killed me, including parry-happy resonant weapon-using jester-havel-turtle clowns.
Holy fuck, finally killed the pursuer. I couldn't get the ballistas to hit the fucker so i gave up on them and fought him like a man with half hp and my shitty fire shortsword that did like 93 dmg. Also, what is this icon that started appearing by itself: What's the best early game weapon by the way? I already have the fire shortsword, normal halberd, winged spear, morning star, great lance and drangleic sword. [editline]2nd July 2015[/editline] Don't know what build im going for atm. I'm thinking quality but im not sure.
I wonder what is going to be better for me Fallout 4 and Dark souls 3 Souls 2 is a few hours shy of matching NV in play time, and souls 1 and FO3 probably are the same as well Fallout and Souls are hands down the best series I have ever played, I can't tell what I cherish more. Bother are post-apocalyptic RPGs, both are about conflicting morals, both are dark and terrifying worlds, one is scifi and the other is fantasy. Mace is nice too.

You can disable it at a bonfire.
that means you won't see signs/get invaded AKA "Offline" mode, it happens when you burn effigies in a fire
In Scholar of the First Sin that happens when you defeat a boss, it's not "Offline" mode, it just protects you from invasions for a little while, to be nice I guess?

It was added in a recent patch. I guess it's supposed to mimic DS1's old system of cutting off online play in areas where bosses have been defeated? Only lasts for 30 minutes, though.
Mace is nice too.
yeah I started a cosplay build and I've been using the homonculus mace to mop up the earlier areas and I was surprised how easily I was able to pound the shit out of all the early enemies and bosses that were wearing armor. I imagine the regular mace works just as well [editline]3rd July 2015[/editline] this is all probably old news I just haven't played 2 in ages
i expected pinwheel to be alot more harder, looks like a really cool boss :(
Fucking pinwheel
i expected pinwheel to be alot more harder, looks like a really cool boss :(
If you take more than the standard 10 seconds to kill him, it gets exponentially more difficult.
pinwheel has the best theme in the game imo, shame you only ever get to hear 10 seconds of it given pinwheel's backstory, his japanese name (three-person weave), and the whispering, it makes for an incredibly eerie song
also, i really hated the first time you encounter seath. i alt+f4 after he killed me and pretty much felt lost because of that and lost interest in the game for a while, there should have been a cutscene or something, y'know?
also, i really hated the first time you encounter seath. i alt+f4 after he killed me and pretty much felt lost because of that and lost interest in the game for a while, there should have been a cutscene or something, y'know?
i don't think it's immediately obvious what you have to do but i think it's obvious that you were meant to die given that you respawn in a jail cell rather than at the previous bonfire the jail cell itself isn't that big and that snake dude with his back to the wall is pretty much asking to be attacked because it's like the only thing to do in the cell
So I drunkenly purchased Demon's Souls... I'd say that's one of the better drunken purchases
