I finally got my tablet working, after years of actually owning it. I am bad at drawing.

It's actually rather good

I know this isn't the Bloodborne thread, but there hasn't been any posts in there for weeks and I can't find it anyways 'cuz I'm too lazy look for it, buuut I think it's bullshit how they changed matchmaking to where you can connect with anyone regardless of Level as long as you're both using a password, meaning a Lvl 100 dude could connect with someone at the lowest possible level. I coop'd with Salty Peanut and he was playing on his fresh Lvl 16 character and I was using my new Lvl 80 STR/ARC character I was working on. I fucking obliterated the Cleric Beast for him. I think it's kind of ridiculous how people can just get carried through the game like this now, plus it makes it even more unfair to the few invaders that are trying to still have fun despite being limited to only gank squads.
I think the next patch for bloodborne equalizes your levels and stats if you password coop with someone of a substantially different level.

Imagine levelling up to meet a higher level player but still having your low-tier stuff.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/D9CIZGZ.jpg[/t] Time to get intoxicated
First impressions: Seems like DS1 is basically an exact copy with better graphics, mechanics, atmosphere, and story line (I've also beaten DS1 so there's that). Being intoxicated makes progress extremely difficult due to being unable to time enemies attacks correctly. Also 720p sucks [editline]9th July 2015[/editline] Exact copy as far as art style, models, animations, and sound design go
All you need is less lines and less of false modesty
I need to get used to working with the tablet - That sketch was the first thing I've drawn in over two years. I'll take that advice to heart and try and get longer, tighter lines.
I think the next patch for bloodborne equalizes your levels and stats if you password coop with someone of a substantially different level.
Passworded matchmaking + that actually sounds like an amazing system. I hope DKS3 has that.
Imagine if DKS3 has a character named "Scrub". His entire reason for being there is just to get better. "Ah, hi there. My name is XXX but everyone calls me Scrub." "Why am I here? I'm not really that good at fighting, well, anything. But... I heard this is a good place to test yourself and improve so here I am." "One day, if I can become good enough, please let me help you on your journey."

And then they die
Would be kinda cute to see an NPC like that early game and see him get better and better as you progress further in the game.
Wouldn't it be basically Seigmeyer but on less equal terms?
Wouldn't it be basically Seigmeyer but on less equal terms?
More like being miserably pathetic the whole way through and he knows it, but tries to hide it with his cheery attitude.
Do you think Dark Souls 3 will have some kind of narrative, or will we just be going through dungeons finding bits of lore and killing whatever boss until we win?
why would it be anything else but that
I don't know. Maybe I want something more than highly speculative and interpretive lore.
I don't know. Maybe I want something more than highly speculative and interpretive lore.
But for the most part it's not highly speculative in the least. All the pieces are there, and the NPCs you talk to tell you enough that you can fill in the rest.
when the theme of the series is ages long-past and fading memories, speculation is kind of the point
Took all day but I finally beat Lord Gwyn with only a sliver of health left. Then I put on Symbol of Avarice for the extra souls. I really didn't think that through. [sp]It just respawned me back where I died but fuck I almost had a heart attack[/sp]
So, since I've never posted anything Fashion Souls~ related. I think my time is now. [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/447330122531238342/149A394772CFEC8F90DD9F9EBC6A664992BD10AF/[/t] What do you guys think? I've considered swapping the Drakeblood helmet for either the Penal Mask or the Infantry Helmet. I like how it blends in with the Alonne Knight Captain armour, though.
I'm using a Halberd and the spiders all died in one hit if you got them with the blade. Spiderpeople were a bit tougher but they still never got close, I only fought...four or so? Quick question, Dark Souls 1 never claimed that you travelled the length and breadth of Lordran, but were instead focussed on the Mountain containing Firelink Shrine and Anor Londo across the mountain range. That's not all of Lordran, fair enough. But Dark Souls 2 seems to want me to think I'm traversing all of the kingdom of Drangleic, using bullshit geometry to give the impression that a 5 minute jaunt can take me from Mejula to the Tower of Flame, that the bridge in Shaded Woods is kilometres away despite being reachable in 3 minutes jogging and that Iron Keep is on top of a volcano within Earthen Peak or somesuch. Am I meant to be travelling all of Drangleic, because the game seems to want me to think I am?
Yeah, I think it's supposed to be all of Drangleic. There's a big map in the basement of Majula that shows the location of the primal bonfires and a few other major ones after you light them. It's really silly how spread out they all are.
time to post my super sexy Johnny Souls again [t]http://i.imgur.com/JItWiiw.jpg[/t]
Nothing bugs me more than seeing a summon/invader with a name like "Gutts/Gattsu" and they're in havels or some hexer shit. C'mon, you gotta commit to it.
Yeah, I think it's supposed to be all of Drangleic. I also finally collected the four mightiest souls in the land to bypass a collapsed archway, walked through a short 30 metre tunnel and I've apparently been transported kilometres away because I can't even see the Viaduct of Shaded Woods, nor the sea at Mejula. This is ridiculous.
Wouldn't it be basically Seigmeyer but on less equal terms?
I was thinking a mechanic where you and him would fight to your last 1/3 of health where the fight would be called off. If he never wins, you'll find him dying just before a boss room (Probably second last boss) instead of seeing a summon sign. "Ah... hi there. It seems that I never was able to improve myself enough to be all that useful to... anyone." "Looks like this is the end for me, but it was fun.... while it lasted." Which means that he lost any determination to improve after never being able to win in a fight against you. However, if he wins (Or you let him win) at least 2-3 times, he'll be there with you at the last boss. I would also have him improve his equipment as the game progresses.

It looks absolutely gorgeous (a rare thing in a Souls game), but dammit if they didn't have to fill it with wizards and crawling gremlins and...paladins or something. I think I also see a Dragonrider in the corner, for some reason.
