They're deer, they have antlers.
They're deer, they have antlers.
Well if you want official confirmation, the Dark Souls II Design Works book labels them as "Ice Stallions".
They're deer, they have antlers.
They're more likely horns.
I would have liked the Frigid Outskirts more if standing still with chameleon during the storm would stop the horses from spawning. They don't attack you if you stand still, but they still spawn far away from you and aggros immediately if you move, so it's kinda pointless.
Fuck it, I'm calling them ducks.
Works for me, cause whoever thought they were a good enemy is a quack.
I liked the lighting duck/horse/stallion/geese just because hitting them with a great club flattens them into the ground and they look so confused trying to figure out how to stand up with four legs.
I've never bothered with Outskirts. Perhaps i should since in tieing up loose ends for the 100% character. Speaking of Ivory King enemies, Fuck those hedgehogs.
They're a huge pain with punch characters
They're a huge pain with Melee-based characters.
They're a huge pain.
They're huge.... That means they have huge guts.
Also, continuing with Ivory King, [sp]White Jabba The Hutt Can eat you, causing you to have all your shit unequiped. Kinda inconvenient to find yourself in your birthday suit when theres a chuckle fuck cunt with a lance and way too much health and posie to deal with. Can regular Jabba eat you like that?[/sp]

Anyone wanna help me finally get the Loyce sword? I'm at the Frigid Outskirts spawn area, Dx9 version of the game. Really just want to kill this fucking boss and get out. I'm not in game right now so if youre interested let me know and we'll figure out if we're within the same soul level
I wouldn't mind fighting those giant ducks if somebody was riding them. I can't shake my head of the thought actual npc enemies live there and not being assault by them :v:
I bet the walls were built around the city just to keep those assholes out.
Are there any good speedruns of peeps including the DLC in their runs?
I still never beat fume knight in dark souls 2. Was he ever made slightly easier in the re-release or something? It pretty much ended my run, it was just so hard. Granted, I think it was NG+. I don't think his numbers were really BS I guess, I just wasn't good enough to beat him. He could have used less hp or maybe just slightly less overkill damage on his second stage or something.
Yeah but imo that's what made him so fun. He was a spongey boss with a lot of damage but was an actual challenge and fun fight instead of just a sponge or just a big damage boss, like Vendrick.
Fume Knight is a very good boss, putting aside the usual DK2 boss crap. And it beats the Ancient Dragon by far Sir Alonne though remains THE boss
Fume Knight is an endurance boss, i'm not a big fan of that but his fightstyle is more predictable than Alonne. Fume punishes you for overextending and trying to be too aggressive so it's sort of makes sense having lots of health. Alonne messes up your timing and it's more agile. I still find his health the best among the rest of the bosses.
Fume, Alonne, and Ivory King are all good fights but Sinh is still my favorite boss in DS2.
Fume, Alonne, and Ivory King are all good fights but Sinh is still my favorite boss in DS2.
Ivory King is not a bad boss but that area can suck a bag of dicks
Imagine if Frigid Outskirts was an entire boss arena. Against an actually cool boss.
Imagine if Frigid Outskirts was an entire boss arena. Against an actually cool boss.
An even bigger ice horse!
An even bigger ice horse!
I would have preferred that since it'd be something new and not two reskinned tiger bosses. :v:
i wanna play scholar of the first sin but FUCK the early game
i wanna play scholar of the first sin but FUCK the early game
Why?
Why?
i just find it kind of tedious until you get going is all
