The gameplay is indeed fast. Demon's Souls pace is great.
I'm at 2.1 million soul memory now, and I haven't been able to get summoned in over a week. Where the hell do I go to get summoned?!! I've been trying Elana in the first DLC and that boss is so badly designed that I'm just gonna give up on it unless I can summon someone who isn't a jackass NPC with fucking caestus.

My primary run is right in that area.

I read one guy say that his SM was about 3 million when he went through the DLCs, I think the only way I could do that is if I beat [sp]all four of the final bosses[/sp] and all of the other DLCs before doing Elana.
Gonna play that demo tomorrow
Gonna play that demo tomorrow
I expect a full report on my desk by the time Gamescom finishes. If you screw this up your career as a forum informant is over.

Aka if the "deadzone" is unnecessarily large. Not sure if you know what i mean. :v: In ds2 you have to move the analog sticks a big amount before something happens. This is the worst shit ever and i'm really hoping it's not in ds3.
How the inventory looks like would be nice, if they added/removed/changed stats, how parrying works now...
Do you kick or do you guard break? Is parrying good again? Can you figure out what the number/symbol under your stamina and on the shield icon is?
Since the combat seems Bloodborne aligned, is fatrolling still a thing?
found a 16min gameplay vid on IGN http://www.ign.com/videos/2015/08/05/16-minutes-of-dark-souls-3-gameplay-gamescom-2015 god I am loving that dragon and just the general combat/feel. Hype drives engaged

That NPC knight at like 5-7min looks like a fun fight [editline]5th August 2015[/editline]
All i want to know is if the movement is as fucked up as ds2. Yeah, DS1 style movement and feel has been confirmed by other people for a while now.
Yeah, DS1 style movement and feel has been confirmed by other people for a while now.
Really excited. I want to see what new magic is in the game also found a youtube version of that 16min gameplay
If you guys want you could post some things I should try out while playing the demo, things you wanna know etc
Try to see if environment / scenery shadows are static or fully dynamic.
Am I the only one who thinks the knight guys wore similar, if not (nearly) identical armor as the player?

What is it with those combat stances? I wish they were shown off more in that, especially the Greatsword.
Jesus that hollow popped a big black thingie, what. It seems that these enemy knights are going to be my favourite.

Especially if you don't know which enemy it's going to happen to I can imagine From being devious as fuck and having you fight several tough enemies, then go down a hall where there's just one and get surprise assblasted as it transforms into an even tougher enemy

But then the player was also bad so I dunno
Holy shit. Toilet paper enemy corpses are back.
That one soldier who at first reminded me of the Balder soldier seemed tough as nails; one of the most aggressive enemies in the series I think. But then the player was also bad so I dunno
Looked more like Drakeblood knights to me.
Embargo was just lifted for the people who got to play the game. Here's a couple of Souls streamers discussing in depth about the combat mechanics.
im loving that they use ds1 animations. that ultra greatsword swinging hnnng i dont like that estus heals instantly, seems almost unpunishable. hope they tweak it
I think it's fine if combat is fast paced like it was shown.
If you guys want you could post some things I should try out while playing the demo, things you wanna know etc
If it's an option, I'd be curious to know how the player characters' faces look this time around. It's easy to make a normal-looking person in DS2, but if DS3 has customization more like the first game then I'll be running around looking like this and I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I wish they'd change the character creator to something more like dragon's dogma because that one is great.
